I've been using dry shampoo for years. I've tried various brands. I am Asian, with black hair. I have found that while Renee Furterer is a great brand and works well, it's quite pricey for use every other day (in between my shampoos). As a perfect alternative, I have found that when I need dry shampoo every other day, I use Pssst for Brunettes as a base first on my roots. To finish off, I use Renee Furterer. Pssst is so much cheaper than RF, but I find that when using Pssst alone, my hair does not have as much bounce and body as when I finish off with RF. Ultimately, it is likely that a combination of a less expensive product along with the premium dry shampoos like RF will work best for most people (for their pocketbooks and for their hair).

seemed to work well ONCE. then can was empty. shame - i won't buy it again. i'll go back to Bumble and Bumble - my favorite dry shampoo/hair powder

It's okay in a pinch, but I would only use it in an emergency situation. The can itself was much smaller than I expected, especially for that price. It had a very strong chemical smell, and to be honest, I couldn't wait to actually wash my hair and get it out. I have heard about other dry shampoos, and might look into them, but I won't order this one again.

I've only used once so far, but worked well. Where does the grease go? Great for those crazy days when you don't have time to wash hair.

I have tried a LOT of dry shampoos and this is by far the BEST!! It actually adds volume to your dirty and flattening hair. My hair is really dry and I cant wash it every day so I use this when my hair seems like it needs a wash or just freshened up a little. It's EASY to use (not like some of the powders), smells great and it looks and smells like you just washed your hair. This is truly the best one on the market and you really dont need a lot of it. I just use about 4-5 quick sprays around my head (and I have really thick and long hair) Be sure to let it dry for a few minutes and then I just brush it out.

I got this in the smaller size as a freebie from this site. I really don't think that the people that are complaining about 3 or so uses out of the big can are using this correctly. I've all ready had 5 uses out of the small can! Spray it in short bursts along your part and maybe a little bit in the back and along your hairline if you really need it. Less is more in this case!!! You really don't need that much. I have very dark hair and there's no weird white mess after I brush it out. It gives my hair amazing body. I really think it looks better after using this than shampooing. It's all the awesomeness of 2nd day hair, but none of the grease. I WILL be buying this when my mini can runs out.

When I take the time to blow out my curly hair I want to enjoy it for as long as possible! This product is AMAZING! The health of my hair has greatly improved because I only have to wash it twice a week a now! Your blow dry looks fresh as a daisy!

I just had a baby about 10 months ago and for some reason it has caused my hair to become much more oily than before. I use this dry shampoo on mornings when I don't have time to shower and it does a great job of eliminating oil from the hair near my scalp. My hair looks much cleaner after using! I got about 15 uses from a 3.2 oz bottle. To me, less than $1.50 per use is a good value so I will keep buying this product. Oh, I also tried the Psst! Spray in Brunette and this product lasts MUCH longer. I only got 2 uses from the Pssst! spray, plus the brunette coloring in the Psst! spray was a bit weird.

This product worked great but I was only able to get 2-3 uses out of the can. Did not leave white reside on my dark brown hair. Not worth the [$]!

I love this product. I use it when I wake up late and don't have time to wash my hair or so I don't have to dry my hair out because I usually have to wash my every day! It does the job quick and easy. does have a little smell but nothing I find over powering.
