It isn't even a sunblock type of smell; instead it smells like they added cheap perfume. It isn't horrible but I just don't like it. If I only wore it on weekends while I hiked it would be no big deal, but I was looking for something for everyday use since I'm so fair skinned. The scent seems to stick around for awhile, and it's flowery so I'm sure a lot of guys won't like it, either. I don't use this on my face to avoid breakouts (I use another product for that) but it seems I can use it on my arms okay. It does apply well and it doesn't feel sticky or slimy at all. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

For starters I have Lupus and my doctor has warned me of the dangers of skin cancer for me, making sun protection a big part of my life. Neutrogena sunblock, ultra sheer dry-touch SPF 70 has the best and the worst of things. First its smell is light which is great because I don't always want to smell like I spent the day at the beach; its SPF 70 and its greasy going on but feels dry when it all sinks in. Then theres the bad: it leaves white on you if you put it on too thick, my face breaks out from it, and for me Im still getting burnt. Broad band protection is exactly that- broad; it leaves out little UVA protection, I couldn't find micronized titanium dioxide anywhere on the label which I heard is great in protecting against UVA and UVB. Anyway, for 10 bucks its pretty good but I still want more. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I prefer spray sunblock (Neutrogena or Aveeno) for my body, but this dry-touch sunblock is the best for your face. It's not greasy, very light, fresh scent, and doesn't clog your pores. I wear it under my makeup and my makeup looks fantastic--no greasy patches or shine. I haven't found anything better than this. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Being African American it is very difficult to find sunscreen that works well, but won't have your face looking pasty. But this sunblock rubs in well and is non-greasy. | I bought this primarily ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 2/15/08I bought this primarily for the Helioplex but also because this product does not have any of the ingredients that are on my list of harmful cosmetic ingredients. The lotion went on smoothly & blended completely into my skin leaving no oily residue or white cast. It has a little of that sunscreen smell but I couldn't smell it once it had dried. My mineral makeup went smoothly over it & the lotion even made my winter-dry skin look more moist, but not oily. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend this for anyone who wants to prevent sun-induced aging of the skin. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

This product is like a gold to us- we burn so quickly here it isn't funny. Ever since we are using this sunblock, the boys spent more time swimming than applying and reapplying sunscreen.  Historically, I have ...by Ken in Billings, MT on 12/30/07Historically, I have always been a great fan of Neutrogenas Ultra Dry touch/sheer line of products but this stuff is awful. I like the SPF 70 and the Helioplex so I use it but I just hate putting it on. I never minded the older stuff but the SPF 70 goes on thick and greasy and leaves me white. I continually have to rub and re-rub the stuff in and it leaves my moustache white. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
