It truly is dry to the touch and blocks out everything. But there are 2 caveats: 1) You need to really blend it well into your skin to avoid white marks. I find that the way you apply it makes all the difference, and 2) my eyes had teared up and caused some of this product to run into my eyes, and the stinging was AWFUL. But you can say that about any sunscreen product, and at least with this one you're getting extremely good coverage. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Due to a stem cell transplant last year I am to avoid the sun and especially sunburn since it can trigger the dreaded Graft vs Host Disease. With this 70 SPF on I have been walking outside for months. I have no tan to show for it but I have no Graft vs Host disease either! The smell bothered me a bit at first but my sense of smell has been a bit off since I had chemo. The smell doesn't bother me now although I wouldn't buy it as perfume! ;-) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I am very fair and get ill from too much sun so I have tried them all! I can tell you that this is the best sunscreen for the buck - and much better than many of the expensive sunscreens out there. As I have lupus, my sensitive skin needs a strong sunblock. I have used Neutrogena dry-touch sunblock from the first time I saw it. It is exactly as it says - dry to the touch. Not greasy.
