For high prices I expect a product to be superior. This lip balm is grainey and hard to apply,. I like l'occtaine and feel that their 100% shea butter and the 20% hand cream. are great products superior to other things on the market. I really wish l'occitaine would make another product that is better formulated. The pure shea butter works better as a lip balm than this product. It is available in a small tin that would be suitable for this.

I've used this lip balm for years. It really works well. At first it is a little bit dry. But after only a few uses, the lip balm becomes smooth and easy to apply. It contains a ton of shea butter which is so good for the skin. Once I found this...I won't use anything else!

This lip balm is tricky.

I have to admit that this lip balm is tricky. I thought it was a defect when I first used it. It was so hard and impossible to apply, but my good friend convinced me to stick with it. It turns out to be one of the best lip balms when used often because the high quality wax will eventually become really soft.

I'm surprised to see this product didn't work for some people. My husband brought it home from a flight -- I tried it, and now won't use anything else. My lips get very chapped in the dry winter air and once I apply this product I can forget about my lips for the the next six or seven hours. Applied at night, I wake to soft, supple lips.

I apply this every night before bed. The shea butter is so healing to my lips. I love all the products from L'Occitane. Their bath soaps are awesome, too.

This is very dense and thick, therefore it is hard to actually transfer from the tube to your mouth, but it is worth the effort. I use it under any other lip balm I am going to use, it amps up whatever lip balm you use over it.
