I have been using this product for years. It is extremely mild and washes off easily, my main requirements in a soap. And the price is competitive. But something changed about this product in the last year! The first thing I noticed was a slight odor that is hard to describe, but mildly ammonia-like. The second thing is the bar begins to fracture into smaller pieces after it is about 25% used up. Prior to this, I would use each bar down to the size of a silver dollar before discarding. In the short term, I will continue to buy this product, but I'm starting to look for a replacement (sob!).

For several years, we used this soap because of sensitive skin. However, this soap is not what it used to be - don't know if it's because there are different owners now or what. The soap now crumbles after just one or two uses, leaving big and small pieces in the shower drain, etc. Also, it is now more drying and has a strange odor. We won't buy it again.

I was concerned when I noticed the label on this soap now says "27% Glycerine for Softer Skin" instead of what it formerly stated, "100% Natural Glycerine Soap." I contacted the manufacturer and was assured the soap's formulation has not changed. Apparently the "100% Natural Glycerine Soap" was misleading so they changed it. A new label, stating the soap's main ingredients, is in the works. I've used soaps with the former and newer label and haven't noticed a difference. The soap is gentle and rinses really well off of both skin and the bathtub, leaving no ring or soap scum. I didn't give it five stars because the bars don't last as long as most bar soaps but that's the only, minor, drawback.

I have the wonderful combination of dry, sensitive skin and skin that is also prone to breakouts. This soap is wonderful. It doesn't dry out my skin, but it cleanses really well. Glycerin naturally smoothes out the skin, so I think it helps keep the dead skin cells at bay, which I think is why it helps with preventing breakouts. All in all, I love this soap. Very soothing and natural. It dissolves, though, so keep it out of the path of the shower nozzle.

I have highly sensitive skin, but this soap gives me no problems at all. I cannot smell any scent from it at all. It rinses off very easily. It does not dry out my skin. It is great to find a soap that does not give me a rash or reaction!

Love the way this soap makes my skin soft and non-irritated/blotchy like some other harsher soaps. Great for those quick showers where you just want to freshen up and not smell like a cologne store. Although "unscented" (no artificial additive scent) it does have its own natural scent that takes some getting used to--it smells a bit like vegetable oil in a frying pan, but the smell does not stick to your skin long after drying off.
