Really great hair remover

I just got this product and it was wonderful. I have medium coarse hair on my legs and the emjoi was great at removing the hair. Of course there was pain, but it was tolerable. The pain is short and goes away quickly. I did have to run the emjoi over my leg several times ... I'm not sure if it's because the hair was long. Overall, I'd recommend this product for puchase.

The emjoi is a blessing. I have been using it for years. I get horrible razor burn on my legs from traditional shaving. The emjoi does pinch a bit but the hair is being pulled from the root...what do you expect. It is cheaper than waxing, less painful than waxing, and the results last longer. Just make sure you clean your shaver by removing the top white rim every so often. A lot of hair gets stuck inside the shaver which can cause problems.

Absolutely LOVE it! Wish I could of found it years ago. The only thing is that I do get some ingrown hairs but frequent exfoliation helps. Another thing is that it misses some hairs and you have to go over some areas a couple of times. Pain level...well it does hurt, I'm not going to lie, but the pain is tolerable (at least for me)//.

Love this product and I waited too long to purchase it. Obviously, grabbing and ripping out hairs by it's folicle is painful and no one's going to be smiling while doing so but Emjoi has made a great product. It's quick to pull the hairs out and within a couple seconds you it's not so uncomfortable. I will never buy another hair removal product again ... well, I won't stray from Emjoi. I highly recommend.

The Emjoi is just like waxing, except the pain is prolonged instead of getting it over all at once. Having said that, I love this product. It paid for itself in the first use on both legs and underarms. I became accustomed to the pain, and knowing its function, what does one expect? Its job is to pull out hair, and it does that effectively and efficiently. I love the idea that I don't have to pay for waxing, which never worked well at home, and that this item is in my control. It leaves bumps behind -- I call them "Shock and Awe Bumps" -- which are gone by the next morning. A shower or better, a bath helps them disappear faster and a soak in the hot tub erases them. There is no painless way to pull out hair, so stop looking for one. This is a great product, easy to use with a long cord, no recharging so it works every time and easy, easy directions. Even a travel bag!

when i got my hair sugared or waxed it would break 70% of the hairs and they would turn into ingrown hairs, but with this i get about 5% broken hairs and it can even get little stubble, like 2 day stubble which impressed me a lot. It is a bit noisy and would be painful for a novice, but you have to work through it, the second time is a breeze and buy the 5 time you wont even notice it. kinda like getting a tattoo...... ya just want to do it again. I highly recommend it!

Works fine, gets rid of all the hair. But if you have allot of hair I would not suggest it. I had to break it up over a week just to do my chest and stomach because of the pain and red bumps that occured. The bumps went away after a day or two but there is 1 or two places where it appears as if I have a very small burse from the hairs being pulled out.

This was an impulse purchase, but totally worth it. I've used it on my arms with great success and my lower legs, althought it hasn't worked as well on my upper legs. I can't seem to make it work for my underarms, and I'm too much of a pansy to use it on my bikini area. OK, I've tried using it on my bikini area, but I'm too much of a chicken to do any more than a few strokes. I think I will try icing first, next time. All in all, a good buy, I can see never getting my legs waxed again.
