I sprained my ankle a couple of weeks ago and the pain hasn't gotten any better. I received this wrap today, put it on, adjusted it to where it's giving me firm, but not-too-tight pressure and I'm walking without limping for the first time since my injury.

I am an ankle replacement recipient and must wear a brace or sock with moderate support most days. I bought this particular style of ankle wrap because 1) it is nude color and 2) I can wear sandals with it. With this support, if I wear a long skirt with a low-heeled sandal, no one may ever notice I'm wearing a brace...and I can dance at my niece's wedding!

I use these supports on my daily walks. They are the best I've found and I've tried many. These supports slip on your foot and the bandage wraps around your ankle;stays in place with velcro. They are supportive without a lot of bulk. These are the best fitting supports I have found and fit well with my shoe orthotics which was an extremely important factor for me. I am purchasing additional pairs.

This item was too large. Had to purchase a medium. The medium is the support needed for my badly sprained ankle. If a large is what is needed I'm sure it will do the job.

I've tried virtually every ankle brace on the market since a severe break in 1999. This one is by far the BEST I've used and had been looking for one for well over a year because my old one is wearing out. I use it on a daily basis, and being pretty active with yardwork and rock climbing, I give it a good workout! This has such a simple design, but it is exactly what a daily user like me is looking for; comfort, support, quality, ease-of-use and easy washing. I actually use "ankle wraps" to support an injury where the heel joins the arch on the side of the foot. These provide the most reliable support of any such wraps I've tried.
Care: Close strap prior to washing. Hand wash with mild soap in warm (not hot) water. Rinse well and air dry. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean, or use bleach or fabric softeners.
