I have very oily skin that breaks out a lot. I started using this product and within a few hours, the oil that is usually on my face was not there. I can go all day now without blotting the oil off of my face. It is drying, but not excessively. As long as you use a moisturizer after washing, you shouldn't have any problems (as long as the moisturizer is oil free). I haven't had any breakouts either since using this. I love it!
