Works well for in-between colorings

I am 39 with intermittent greys that seem to grow faster than my dark brunette hair. This product was easy and fast to use. I usually color with the full product every two months. This root touch up was just what I needed for in-between colorings. I actually loved the sponge applicator.

loved it! Left my hair feeling soft and manageable. Easy to mix, no mess; although, I did not like the sponge like applicator tip so I used a small brush to apply. This is the third week and my color is still vibrant.

This didn't work at all. I have used it twice, thinking that maybe the first time was a fluke, but no, same results. The only thing this colored was my scalp and hairline skin, and it took forever to get it off! The first time I used it I left it on for the recommended time, but it did nothing. My hair looked just like it had before. The second time (a month later) I left it on for about 30 minutes, thinking that maybe my resistant grays were the problem. It still did nothing. Waste of time and money. I'll go back to the other root touch-up on the market - I always get good results from it, but thought I'd give this one a try since it is cheaper.
