Whenever I start to get itchy skin whether it be from hives, allergies, bug bites, I take a warm bath with the Aveeno, key is warm not hot. It soothes and lasts a long time. Also pat dry, don't rub.

I have a skin disorder with extremely dry skin that sheds in huge dry flakes. Then after bathing, I am so dry that my skin burns/itchs. This helps quite a bit.

I bought this for my son when he was about 4 years old. He had severe eczema and scratched his skin so bad that his legs would bleed. His doctor prescribed steroidal medicine that was extremely expensive and didn't work so well. I did a little research and decided to give this a try. It worked miracles. My son actually looked forward to his nightly oatmeal baths and would even fix the bath himself. We would fill the tub up to where he could lay down without his face being immersed. He'd stay in there until the water turned cold. All the itching and scarring was relieved. I highly recommend this for eczema or any severe itching skin. :)

My dad used this bath on his face when he contracted poison oak. He had always been highly allergic to poison oak and had it on his face so severly that his eyes only opened to slits. He wouldn't go to the doctor and instead used this. It took awhile since he had a very severe case but it did the trick. He left some behind and now I'm using it for a rash I have on my forhead. I only used it once so far and I already feel less itching. I have faith it will do the trick.
