They don't stay on anymore... by artgirl in Denver, CO on 11/23/09Cons: Ineffective Describe Yourself: Novice First Aid Skills Best Uses: Emergency Preparedness, Keep In The Medicine Cabinet, Keep In The Trunk, Outdoor Activities Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: not recommended I am an artist and I have a mean cat. I need bandages constantly. I
always joked that I should by stock in 3M. I only wear the Comfort Ultra Wear Fabric ones for comfort, at least I used to. They have changed the adhesive formula and I can't keep them on anymore. I am totally frustrated, I thought it was the new shape, but I went back to rectangles and they won't stay on either.
My favorite bandage, by far! by Paper cut magnet in Escondido, CA on 11/15/09Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Easy to remove, Effective, Flexible, Promotes Healing, Safe Cons: Prefer the old shape Describe Yourself: CPR Trained Best Uses: Emergency Preparedness, Keep In The Medicine Cabinet, Outdoor Activities, Quick Fix Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended These bandages are the most comfortable bandages ever! They're sort of like plastic and fabric combined. They move with you like fabric, so I can use them on my fingers without them annoying me or limiting my movements. But they also withstand water almost as good as plastic, so you don't have to change the bandage on your finger after washing your hands. They stay in place, but come off when you want them to. They don't leave an icky, sticky residue after you remove them either. I do prefer the old regular rectangle shape for most things (especially fingers), however the new shape is awesome for blisters on the back of your heel.
prefer old rectangular style by nail biter in hudson,ma on 8/25/09Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Promotes Healing Cons: Prefer rectangle Describe Yourself: Novice First Aid Skills Best Uses: Glove box of car, Keep In The Medicine Cabinet, Quick Fix Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended have used these for many years always like the 3/4" rectangle -
not crazy about new stlye and packaging -are you trying to ruin a good thing.
Great! by Mom of one in Jackson, NJ on 10/27/08Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Safe Describe Yourself: Parent Best Uses: Keep In The Medicine Cabinet, Outdoor Activities, Quick Fix Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended I've been using the comfort strips for a long time. Lately it has been difficult to find them anywhere. I don't understand why the comfort strips variety packs do not exist anymore. I really dislike the new waterproof version where it is sealed all around. It just doesn't let the wound breath. Hope the manufacturer will bring back the regular comfort strips.
A good bandage by damacra in Winter Haven, FL on 10/26/08Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Safe Best Uses: Emergency Preparedness, Keep In The Medicine Cabinet, Quick Fix Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended I buy these bandages for my 90 year old father. His skin is thin and fragile and these bandages do not tear his skin when removed, unlike the other major brand.
everything you need by bandaiduser in FL on 10/11/08Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Safe Describe Yourself: Novice First Aid Skills Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended This is everything you would expect in a bandaid plus comfort and breathability too. I will buy them again when I run out of this box. Having fabric instead of plastic is healthier and it was the primary reason I bought these. I'm fully satisfied with this brand.
Stick really well by TRo in Ohio on 9/29/08Pros: Easy To Use, Effective Describe Yourself: Parent Best Uses: Keep In The Medicine Cabinet Primary use: Personal Bottom Line: recommended I hurt my toe really badly and these bandages stuck to the difficult sides of my toe and really held on. I was super impressed. The nicest thing, besides the stretchy fabric is that all the sides stick (even those skinny sides). Very good bandage.
The most amazing bandage ... by Edward in Undisclosed on 7/10/07The most amazing bandage I have ever used! (They are unfortunately getting harder to find where I live but hopefully you will find them and try them for yourselves!) I have never found a bandage that felt so natural, like you were not even wearing it at all! The texture feels like human skin with an almost crushed-velvet feel. It is extremely flexible and the best part is that when you take it off, there is no glue residue left from where the bandage was. Let me repeat that last fact- there is no glue left where the bandage was! It is truly the best bandage I have ever used!
These are the best, most ... by Patricia in New York, NY on 4/5/07These are the best, most comfortable bandages ever. The only problem is they come in assorted sizes and you may use one of two sizes more frequently. |
