These come in different textures. If your texture it too rough, don't use the edges of it...use more of the middle. The "EXTRA GENTLE FACE BUF-PUF" is a bit TOO soft. The regular face sponge or the gentle body sponge are both great. I use the regular body puf to exfoliate elbows, and the softer ones on my face & neck. Feel much cleaner, face is healthier, and everyone notices the improvement.

Superb exfoliator. It scrubs off dead skin and to reveal smooth, glowing layers underneath. I use it on my face morning and night with a little water and Clean N Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub. My dermatologist recommended it to my brother and me to smooth bumpy skin and get rid of pimples (especially blackheads). It's better at physically improving those things than anything else I've tried (loofahs, scrub cloths...). It dries overnight so doesn't seem as prone to mildew as loofahs and sponges either.

I have used many cleansers and exfoliants - none comes close to this sponge - I use once a week - Over 40 skin needs a good exfoliant and boy does this do the trick.

I bought these on line because I couldn't find the actual Buf brand anywhere in my town. These are a must for anyone wanting to keep the dead skin off - i have combo skin and use it daily to scuff off dry skin, small whiteheads, etc. and couldn't live without it. The drugstore generic versions work good, too, but the Buf brand seems to last longer - trick is not to squeeze them, as this makes them shrink down and work less effectively.

I use these daily and they work great! I have the clarasonic, and I find myself going to these instead of my clarosonic. Not too abrasive at all, gives you a nice healthy glow, and beautiful skin, highly recommend!
