I didnt really like this wash. It lathers nice, and the smell is good, but it just really over dried my combination skin. My skin felt really tight after I used it. I think it would be better on really oily skin. It definitely gets EVERYTHING out of your face, oil dirt, and makeup. But for combination/sensitive skin, I would recommend Olay Moisture Balancing Foaming face wash. That is oil free, P.H. Balanced, Soap Free, and has vitamin e... that really helped me with my acne too, and doesnt dry out my skin. But if you have very oily skin, the Clean and Clear should work nicely.

I use this face wash every morning and night. I have used it for 6 months now, and it feels great afterwards. I love the feeling of clean, fresh, soft skin. However, it won't clear up acne. I recommend buying astringent to use after washing your face. I do it every morning and night and it works great!

THIS CLEANSER REALLY GETS OUT EVERYTHING! AT FIRST WHEN I STARTED TO USE IT, IT KINDA IRRITATED MY SKIN... I JUST DON'T KNOW WHY BUT NOW IT DOESN'T IRRITATE MY FACE... I GUESS IT IS BECAUSE MY SKIN KIND OF ADAPTED TO IT I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT ALL I KNOW IS THAT IT REALLY CONTROLS SHINE AND BREAKOUTS. IT IS GREAT TO TAKE OUT MAKEUP OR JUST CLEAN YOUR FACE.

I really like this product. It made my face nice and clean without being greasy or oily afterwards. Even my sister, who has a lot of pimples, uses it too and noticed her face had cleared up after using it.

Love how clean and squeaky I feel after I use this cleanser! Plus, it smells great!

When I think of the most horrible item I have ever bought- this is number one. I don't really have acne-prone skin, but I break out once in a while. I used this on my face, and it made my skin break out even more! I guess I was allergic to it, but I do not suggest this product to anyone who has sensitive skin.

I actually liked this cleanser when I first used it; pleasant smell, rinsed clean, got rid of my makeup. However I use Retin-A so after about 3 nights of this cleanser I got rough patches and scaliness on my chin and forehead. I've been using Retin-A cream for 6 months so I'm well beyond the "break in" stage. Bottom line, it's not compatible for Retin-A users, but if you have oily skin and are using milder over the counter acne products give it a try, I think the triclosan would be effective in preventing acne bacteria at night.

This is a great product. I used this product as a teenager and during my college years, but for some reason I stopped using it. Now 5 years later, I am battling my acne-prone skin. I was having severe breakouts, and had tried pretty much tried everything else. This cleanser not only stopped the breakouts, but has cleared up my skin in a matter of just less than 2 weeks. When combined with the benzoyl peroxide Clean & Clear makes, it worked wonders for my skin. Highly recommended!!!

This cleanser is perfect for my adult skin which usually gets overly dried out with most products designed to prevent breakouts. It's also the only one that actually keeps my skin clear...friends have asked me what I've been using, because my skin looks so good. While some people mentioned that it doesn't foam, I've found rubbing my hands together for a short time produces a great lather.

I discovered this product years ago by accident (someone who worked for the company gave me a bottle). The thing to remember is that everyone's skin is different. I have mostly, but not visibly, dry skin, and I found this is a very good makeup remover for my skin type. It does not advertise itself as such, but it's strong enough to strip away my concealer, foundation, pressed powder, shadow, and mascara. Plus the salicylic acid treats breakouts caused by makeup before they sprout up. If you've got skin like this and wear makeup daily, give it a try.
