Works really well, without overdrying. Put on an emerging pimple and it was completely gone within 2 days without ever forming a whitehead.

This is better than the generic, it is thicker and lasts longer. It needs to be mixed in with a little moisturizer, then applied all over the face. I use it every single night before bed, and I never ever have a single breakout.

I never had any major problems with my skin. Just the occasional pimple and blackheads on my nose. Then it was like when I turned 30 my face just changed. I had constant breakouts that didn't' go away. A few days after using this product, my face cleared up and has stayed clear for over a month now. The only downside is that it makes wherever I put it a bit itchy. So you definitely only want to put it where the pimples are. I give it a few minutes to dry, then put a moisturizer on my face and I'm fine. One thing that really shocked me was that the blackheads on my nose even cleared up!

I bought this for my boyfriend because they stopped producing the Peter Thomas Roth BPO 10% gel that he had been using and really liked. I was told that many companies have stopped making the BPO gels and washes because the "bounce back" factor, however it is the only thing that works for my boyfriend's oily skin and he has never had adverse side affects with it. He likes this gel just as much as the PTR gel that was much more expensive and we will continue to buy this product.

I have tried this product for breakouts and whiteheads. I break out once a month. I have used this a few times and followed the directions. The product did nothing to improve the breakout. It stung slightly but thats all. My breakout got worse after my second use. If I could get a refund, I would.

I've been using this stuff since I was in my early teens (I'm in my early 20s now) and it was the first thing to really work against my acne. It DOES tend to dry out your skin a bit, but that calms down with frequent use and it helps if you use an oil-free moisturizer afterwards. I use this stuff religiously and I no longer get frequent acne. I'll have one or two zits at time, but I'm no longer embarrassed by my face. Definitely highly recommend this stuff.

I am 40 years old, and after 16 years of using prescription/name brand products for my acne - have finally found the one that works for me. Twice a day I wash my face with Aqua Glycolic face wash and use toner. Then 10 minutes later, I spread Persa-gel onto my face and let dry for 20 minutes. FInish my routine with Olay Total Effects Moisturizer and my skin has changed forever - NO MORE ACNE after so many years. It is a miracle!
