I currently tried this product due to a recommendation by a dermatologist. I also read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I guess the 10% Benzoyl Peroxide solution was too strong for my skin because my skin began to form little fine bumps. I will just stick to the salicylic acid medication from now on.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I had a huge pimple on my face and it was really irritating. I started to apply this stuff at night and day. It slowly decreased in size. That pimple was way too tough to deal with. Without this stuff it would still be here!

Benzoyl peroxide is definitely the best remedy for acne, in my opinion. Salicylic acid makes my skin peel and doesn't seem to prevent break outs. It is true that this product bleaches fabric, so I lay a white towel across my pillow to avoid bleaching my sheets. I also avoid using it during the day unless I am wearing a white shirt, because it WILL bleach collars etc. if your face touches them. This is a great product and cleared my skin up, even better than prescription medications I have used.

This is by far the BEST acne product you can purchase over the counter, and I have tried MANY products. Benzoyl peroxide seems to work best on my type of acne (usually one or two large bumps). Clean and Clear products in general are extremely pleasant and far more effective than pricier brands.

Works great for my acne...much better than salicylic acid products. However, it bleaches fabric, and within a week of purchasing this product, my bedding is completely ruined. I will continue to use it, but only in the morning, assuming it doesn't start bleaching my clothing as well.

I was amazed that this product worked so well. I felt a bad breakout coming on, and I noticed results overnight. There was one strange side effect, however. I put the cream on before I went to bed and when I woke up I had swollen puffy eyes. This went away after I was awake for a few hours.

This product is consistently useful for relieving whiteheads. However, for cystic acne, the product isn't consistent. Often, my skin simply dried out without a noticeable reduction in size of the pimple. It's worth trying for cystic acne, but no promises that it will always work.

This is a great product but you have to know what to mix it with to get the results you want. To control and prevent acne all over use Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 with Alpha Hydrox Retinol ResQ. Use a thin layer of each product all over problem areas along with an oil free moisturizer like Clean & Clear Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer. For spot on treatment, combine Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 with Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment with Salicylic Acid, and apply to problem zits to clear them up.

This stuff really works! I had been using it for years, but stopped about a year ago because I started using Proactiv - BIG mistake!! I have recently come back to this, and am wondering why I ever stopped. It gets rid of my pimples in 2-3 days - amazing!! It will dry up your face if you use too much, so just be careful with how much you put on.

I did not see any effect after using this. It's not even a gel. It's a white cream. I have break outs along my jaw lines, and bought this Clean & Clear product as it contained 10% benzoyl peroxide. After using for 2 days, and 3 times daily as directed, the acne hadn't even reduced in size. It leaves a very visible white residue, which is very embarrasing. I used a mixture of bakingsoda+water and saw amazing results in just half an hour. Thought this 'gel' would be even better but it was a HUGE disappointment. I will be returning this for sure.
