This stuff worked for a while, but I then found that it was too drying for me. I have since switched to a 2.5% solution and while it took a few weeks to get working, it now works great. I reccomend that anyone who is having problems with any 10% solution -- switch to a 2.5. I still use this on occasion if I have to, but I try not to because it seems to make things worse by drying my skin.

I thought that with the higher concentration of benzoyl peroxide (10%) that it would be more effective on my zits -- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Depending on how early I apply Persa-Gel it may stop a zit from getting worse, but it's not as good on zits that are further along.

I bought this on-the-spot gel to get rid of those sudden pimples that popup from time to time. I use it overnight, but it doesn't really dry out the pimple. Instead, it mildly reduces its size. It also leaves an acne scar.

This helped vanish my tiny pimples overnight, but it doesn't help with the larger pimples. I got more breakouts after several days of usage and VERY, VERY, VERY dry and peeling skin -- it's gross. Not recommended. What I do recommend is Neutrogena's On the Spot ace treatment with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. 2.5% works just as well as 10% with A LOT less irritation and drying!

This is a very, very good product for WHAT IT IS. Firstly, it used to be PersaGel, an Rx product. (I used to get anybody I could convince to write me prescriptions for it, like a little junkie). It is for acne blemishes, and should be applied directly to the dots themselves, not all over your face and neck. No wonder some of these people were miserable! You'll burn yourself if you aren't careful. For use all over your face to PREVENT acne, you would likely be better off with a lower %, as this high can end up making you a bit worse before you get better, and frankly burning and leaving your face tight and uncomfortable. Use this as directed folks! Apply to acne lesions 3x a day, and watch them shrivel up and DRY!

I am not a big fan of Clean & Clear products. My mom bought me this acne gel, which did not give good results. It felt all tight on my face when I put it on and left a white residue. This product did not help my pimples what so ever. Not recommended.

This product makes your pimples smaller, but they doesn't exactly make your pimples vanish. When I bought this product I was so happy...until I tried it. I need a product that takes away the pimple and the spots remaining from the pimple. I've tried many Clean & Clear products and they make my skin oily (my skin is oily enough). I also tried Clearasil, but that broke out my face.

I've had similar results from this product as previous customer: this product burned my skin! I admit it does help my pimples, but to a certain extent. In my opinion, this product has too much benzoyl peroxide for any type of skin. An effective acne treatment would probably have 5-2.5% benzoyl peroxide. I will not buy this product again.
