I have sensitive combination skin and I love this stuff (I've used it for 2 years)! Warning: it WILL leave your skin on the dry side afterwards (as do most face washes), so get a good oil-free moisturizer. In a week, breakouts are gone.

I love this product. However, I don't think this product alone will give you the results you want. I use this cleanser to wash my face before putting on my prescription gel that is absolutely wonderful. This doesn't react with that medicine, and it doesn't dry out my skin. It's worth a try if you need a gentle, pre-medication cleanser.

I love this face wash! I just got it yesterday and I used it. It made my pores smaller and I don't have an oily face! Yay...whoohoo! And I also got the Clear Pore Toner, and you are supposed to use it three times a day; man, that stuff get deep into the pore, I love it! I have already seen a difference in my skin and I only used it twice so far. I recommend this for people with oily skin, not combo (it may dry it out) and people with dry skin, beware! It will dry out your skin big time.

I have very mild acne and sensitive skin. I do not care for this product. I found it very drying and it smelled like burnt rubber. After a week I threw it out. Now I use Biore acne cleanser in the morning and Neutrogena Pore Refining cleanser at night followed by Dove Clarifying Toner. That's working for me. If your skin is dry or sensitive, this is not the product for you.

I bought this a week ago at the local store and came here (drugstore.com) to see if people had similar problems. I have very oily skin and I use scrubs and stuff and never get irritated skin from it. This product got me bright red and made my skin break out in an odd way. They make such great stuff normally, but I am very disappointed in this. Don't even try this stuff 2% salicylic acid never did this to me. Wish I read reviews first. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. I used the product for two days, and it's been 3 days since I stopped using it. Still have red spots, still hurts, still have little break outs, and I wake up all peeling and stuff.

Great when I was younger with very oily skin. Now that my skin is less oily, it dries it out and irritates it.

This is some really good stuff. I highly recommend this to anyone with acne problems and sensitive skin. It is very gentle on my face.

Yuck. I used this once and threw it away. My skin went berserk; it somehow got flaky and greasy at the same time. Try the Neutrogena Deep Clean cream cleanser instead. It works great.

That was a complete nightmare! My face broke out even more, but this time, with the painful kind. My face is just so red now and is painfully flaking, especially around the nose. My skin looks dead and just gross. I feel terrible- I've been searching for something to fix the damage. I am just really annoyed, and I have completely lost faith in Neutrogena.

I have moderately oily skin and this is one of the best cleansers I have ever used. I use it twice a day and it keeps my skin clear and soft. I do notice that it can be a little drying, so try an oil-free moisturizer. I love Neutrogena!
