This product is terrible. It gave me dry and incredible flaky skin. I do have extremely oily skin and thought I wouldn't have a problem with the product but I did. It worked for the first three days however, right after that it caused little bumps across my forehead and mouth. Plus, I became really dry and flaky. Just awful.

Best for controlling oily skin. Cleanses well but not right for my skin. Even I have naturally dry skin and it didn't dry out my skin. If you used a product and it dryed out your skin then use this for recovery.

I have some problems with my skin face. in my country, I have special doctor, with his special face soap to keep my face from dried skin, acne, irritatation, etc.but when I come to US, the face soap is taken by the officer in the airport, so I dont have face soap to keep my face looks good.I went to a store, n buy neutrogena oil free anti acne, and I try it at hotel, and wow, the result is excellent, neutrogena is good as my face soap from my doctor. and its cheaper then my face soap before.so when I come back to my country. I bought 3 neutrogena to replace my face soap from my ecpensive doctor.thankyou neutrogena, u keep my face clear, moisture, and beautiful.I love it.

I've been using this face soap for years. I'd say if I'd collected the bottles I'd have a tall garbage bag full. This soap keeps my skin looking clear. The only thing you might run into is dried skin. Duh. That's because the sacylic acid. It's GOING to do that. Anyways you just need this and some good moisturizer like Clean & Clear Dual Action or SheerCover Moisturizer and you'll be good. I use this to remove my makeup after applying baby oil gel to my eyes. I use a LOT of eye makeup and this seems to do the trick. Anyways, this is one of my faaaavorite products that I can't do without. :-) Yes, I would and do recommend buying this product - that is if I've left any for you in the stores!!

Neutrogena has been making this product for more than 20 years; its packaging has changed but not its key ingredient: Salicylic Acid (SA)....I'm a loyal customer since my early 20's (you do the math) continuing now because of what SA does ~> exfoliate. From Wikipedia: "SA works by causing the cells of the epidermis to slough off more readily, preventing pores from clogging up, and allowing room for new cell growth." All this means...unless your sensitive to SA... this product, used in tandem with a good moisturizer, has given me great &, still, young looking skin into my mid 40's. Wish you all the same success!

I have been using this product for like 2 or 3 weeks, and my face has gotten better every day! I had MILD acne, but its just clearing it up! Even my scars!! It does make my face really dry, but thats why I bought oil-free SPF 15 moisturizer, its all good now. JUST BUY MOIZTURIZER PEOPLE!!!

So many bad reviews---- Hey, girls and boys, just know your skin. Cleansers vary because we dont have the same skin, some are oil, and others are dry. Mine is combination of oily in the t-zone area and dry in some parts. I have been using this product for MANY years, like 8. I love it!!! I've got skin because of this and of course there's my toner and moisturizer. Discover yours!

I have been using this cleanser for 6 months. It feels good, made my skin so clean and doesn't dry my face. I love this product and is a great for acne treatment.

I used this product once and my skin started peeling moments later. I hoped it would help my acne problem and I could just use a moisturizer to get the dry skin off. It IS helping my acne; the zits on my face are already getting smaller and fading away. But I never had oily skin so I think it will keep drying my face out.
