I have acne prone combo skin I've been using this product for about 2 months. After washing, my face feels so clean. It is gentle but some times mildly dry for combo type skin.

I have sensitive skin prone to breakouts and large pores. I was impressed with this product because it didnt irritate my skin. It did take a month before I noticed an improvement with the acne but that should be expected with any new product,you wont see results.It is gentle enough that as soon as I noticed my daughter at the age of 10 having a breakout she also started using it with great results and no irritation.

I've used it all, and this is the only thing that really clears up my acne only leaving a few blemishes that usually vanish by the end of the day. It reduces redness and give your face that beige perfect look that everybody wants. its perfect. Proactive has nothing on this.

I bought this because my face was constantly red and I had numerous breakouts. After the first day, I was pleasantly surprised; the breakouts had faded and my face wasn't as red. After 3 days my face was almost "normal", so I continued to use the product. Well, that's where it all ended! I have since stopped due to redness and peeling. It looks like I have a disease! I have now been off of the wash for 5 days and there are no signs that the peeling is letting up. Don't use!

Doesn't do too much to get rid of pimples and also dries up my skin after I use it. But once I come home from a hard day and my skin is oily and tense...I use this product to freshen up. I doubt I will be using this in the future, though.

I have never used Neutrogena because I thought it was like any other otc product, but when I ran out of my cleanser, I needed to switch to something similar. This said it was gentle, and has salicylic acid, so I bought it and didn't use it for a few days, and I thought hey what the heck, and I gotta say this is SUPER GENTLE. It got in my eye, and I was scared to open it, but there was no sting when I did. It is very effective, and helps with those occasional zits and acne. I have been out without makeup for the longest time. My skin is smooth, and it's all thanks to Neutrogena. Better than AcneFree, or any other stonger acne meds. I highly recommend this to anyone. A little bit goes a long way.

I remember using this stuff when I was in high school. Back then, it smelled a bit medicinal. I recently decided to try it again, and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely, light floral fragrance. I like the way it makes my skin feel--clean and soft, but not dry and tight. The 2% salicylic is great for someone like me with both wrinkles and pimples, and you can't beat the price.

This product really made a difference in my complexion. I've been struggling for years with breakouts and oily skin and I tried everything. I mean EVERYTHING. Then I finally viisited a dermatoglogist and he recommended this product. He said probably all the years of scrubbing and using abrasive products exacerbated my oily skin. Now I have a much tighter and less oily look complexion, and my pores are almost invisible now. I love this product. I am glad that I found something that finally works. I do not recommend use if your skin is not oily. There are other Neutrogena cleansing washes for your skin type, this one might cause excessive dryness in normal or dry skin. I have been using this product for almost a year now. For the first few months, it worked awesome and got rid of most breakouts, while preventing new ones from coming. After a while unfortunately, it stopped clearing up my breakouts as effectively, although it still worked amazing at preventing new ones from coming. I like it a lot though, and it still works great. Pretty much the only bad thing is that it leaves your skin feeling quite dry. My solution is simply to use a good mosturizer right after cleansing. It works perfectly. Another good thing about this product is that it won't irritate your skin.

I really like this product a lot. It will make your skin very dry if you use too much. That's what I discovered. So I use a toner and moiturizer afterward. I like it because it has a lot of salicylic acid. It's worked better than Proactiv when I used it.
