Beware: VERY DRYING. After using this product at night I would put on some Neutrogena Moisturizer. Next morning my skin was still flaky, so I pile on more moisturizer. After I would put on my powder makeup you could see how flaky my skin still was! Very irritating. Once I stopped using the Acne Wash and started using the much more expensive Dermologica, my skin isn't dry at all and my make up looks great. I never did notice my blemishes go away while on Neutrogena either.

This product works. I don't like how the lather is so "thin" and it dries out my skin. But it did help clear my skin. I've also tried this for acne on my back and chest instead of buying body wash for acne, and I would have to say that using this with one of your favorite body washes works just as well!!

I used to use Acne Complex by Murad, but discovered the Neutrogena stuff was almost the same thing! They use a Salicylic Acid face wash and gel, as well as a really great lotion and sulfur acne spot remover. So I switched to this, and got the same results except if I forgot to use the lotion, my skin would get very hard and flaky (I have very dry skin). The Salicylic Acid itself can really dry out skin, depending on the person. As for making you break out, when i first started the other product it said at first I would "purge

This stuff does dry out my skin but it really isn't so bad; that is why I gave it 3 stars. I'm in between about this. Once I'm done using this, I make sure I moisturize right after and it works just fine. It does depend on the person's skin for it to work well for them!

This product is awesome! I was using another product after having a series of breakouts; within 3 days I saw immediate improvement in my skin. It is somewhat drying, but if you have problem acne this is it.

I would highly recommend this product to any mild-moderate acne sufferers! I suffered acne for over 5 years and until now, it's never been this clear! I still get a very few breakouts here and there but it's a 90% improvement! You should give it about a month until you see significant results because your skin has to adjust to the product and it takes that long. I gave it about a month and I got spectacular results. Just need to be patient! Also, you should only use 2x daily as the product recommends, otherwise, your skin will get irritated and you'll breakout even more! Trust me, its happened to me!

Didn't like this product at all, I thought it was very drying and left a strange texture to my skin. I just couldn't take it anymore after a little while. The product also had a smell that I couldn't stand. I've had much better success with Avon's Clearskin line and I think that is what I'll be sticking with. I do like a couple of Neutrogena's cleansers, just not this one.

I been using this product for a year now and it completely cleared up my skin; the only thing is if I wash my face more than 2 times a day it irritates my skin even though I have oily skin -- and the thing is my skin gets oily very quickly so I have to wash my face at least 3 times a day. It's kind of difficult for me to keep my face clear, but this totally clears up my face from red blemishes and pimples at the same time, and evened out my skin tone and it was just wonderful! I love it I also use this with the oil free 60 second scrub; it's fantastic.

This product is a little too drying for the colder months but great for the summer when my skin is more oily than usual. It also cleared up the acne on my back in about a week. Some people might find it too harsh to use on their faces, but it's definitely worth a try to clear up back acne.

This was the first thing I used when I started breaking out when I turned 12. I used this with Neutrogena on-the-spot acne treatment and it was the only acne regimen to this day that cleared my skin. I was very happy with this product and still am. it worked for me for about 2 years before it kinda stopped...I think my acne is getting "smarter" as to how to prevail over what I use on it, so that's why this doesn't work as well anymore. I think that if I continue to use this and find some better products to go along with, I will have clear skin again. Overall, a great product!
