I love this product; it is especially made for oily skin. It works well on clearing up your skin. There might be pealing so use a little of oil free lotion. My choice of oil free lotion is Olay Complete; it's 100% oil free. Keep using this product and you'll see drastic results, no lie!!!

My dermatologist recommended this to me and at first I was a little skeptical. I'd been using more expensive brands on my face (Murad, ProActiv, etc) and doubted that this could be better for my skin, but I gave it a chance anyway. My skin definitely feels smoother and it is at least as good as what I had been using before but I've only been using it for about 2 weeks so it remains to be seen whether it's actually better, but it's definitely worth a shot. The only reason I gave it four stars was because it tends to be a little drying (I have combinations skin too, it's not like I have dry skin) and I usually have to use a moisturizer. Other than that I would recommend it.

What's with these reviews? This product is a great cleanser, but it works for people who aren't allergic to its ingredients, and for people who read the directions, like any other product. If you are allergic with this cleanser's ingredients, then don't use it! MAKE SURE that you READ THE DIRECTIONS. Remember, it's soap, not a lotion, so make sure that you rinse ALL of it off. I also recommend you to try Neutrogena "On-the-Spot" acne treatment after washing your face with this product. It works pretty well with me; my acne is getting better everyday. Remember, like any other product, it takes time for your face to get better, so use it for a month and see what happens.

Below my expectations. It's not a good smell and it's hard to get off sometimes if you don't use hot water. Think about Biore instead.

I started using this acne cleanser wash about a week ago. It makes my skin dry out so bad, it peels. I haven't seen the results yet, so I am going to give another try for 2-3 weeks and see how it goes. It makes my skin dry; the little blackheads came out, irritating.

I tried this product when I was a freshman in college and my skin broke out a lot. I thought this would help, but instead it made my skin read and I had little tiny pimples to add to the big ones that I already had. I stopped using it and began with ProActiv, which worked for a while and then stopped. I now use either Cetaphil or the Neutrogena bar cleanser along with St. Ives exfoliating face wash -- and I now have beautiful clear skin.

This is by far the worst, worst, worst product I have ever used. My skin is prone to slight hormonal breakouts and I decided to try a Neutrogena product. I used it for two days, morning and night and by the third day, my skin was bright red, sore and itchy. By that evening, I began to break out in hundreds of tiny pimples all over my bright red face and now, two days later, they're still there except all the skin around my mouth has badly dried out and cracked. It looks so awful I've had to cancel appointments for today as I couldn't bear to show my face. I've never experienced anything like this and can't warn people enough to stay clear of it - the risk is just not worth it. Note - I had to give at least one star but it doesn't deserve even that.

This product works if you have really bad acne, but if you have mild to little acne I don't recommended it, because it dries your skin. I tried this product and I had to double the lotion that I had to put on because this dried up my skin. So I don't recommend this to any one with mild acne.

This is the WORST product I've ever used on my face. Initially I only had a mild acne problem, but after using it for 2 days, not only my acne did NOT improve, but my chin and nose area broke into an itchy, red rash. The skin was dry and peeling with an intense burning sensation. I've stopped using it since, and slowly my face is starting to heal. However, I can now feel the existence of very tiny pimple-like texture on my face which was NEVER there prior to using this product. I would rate it ZERO if I could, and I won't be buying any Neutrogena products ever again.
