I have been using this exact shade for the past 5 years - it lasts FOREVER - my roots grow out before any color fades! The color on the box is the EXACT same as it shows up on my hair. Anyone who says that the box has a misrepresentation of color - that's not true ... every box of color doesn't work for every hair shade. First, you have to look at the side of the box and see what your hair color is naturally (light medium dark brown to black) and then see what the shade will turn out to be. I have a medium brown natural hair color - and it's PERFECT. I would recommend this product to anyone - it's sassy, it's bold and it's beautiful! EVERYWHERE I go I get compliments on how beautiful my hair looks. The only down thing about this product is I can't find it ANYWHERE - I looked at .. all the places that once used to carry it in my area .. and it's NOT anywhere. I'm a little reluctant to buy it online. But I love it so much that I"m willing to do that!!!

This is the only color I will but in my hair. This color was so hard to find until I discovered at drugstore. OH! was I happy to see that. This product leaves your hair smelling so good after coloring and the conditioner that comes with it makes your hair so soft and smooth. Bottom line I will never use another color or brand.

I have been dying my hair red for about 20 years. I have tried most products out there, I usually stick to L'Oreal hair dyes, but decided to give this one a shot. While the dye was in, it looked bright red, which is what I wanted. After I washed it out, it was a nice red almost matching the box. But within a week, this permanent color had faded to orange! Many reds that I have used do this, so I was very disappointed that this one also turned my hair orange rather than staying red.

I loved this color since the moment i saw it. I have a huge experience in coloring my thick very dark brown hair in reds. Usually i used Clairol Textures and Tones (Flaming Desire), but it made my hair kind of dry so i decided to cheat on it with this great looking color from Clairol Herbal Essence. Unfortunately, doing everything according instruction, i didn't get desired color even it was stated on that results will be seen even on black hair. So individuals with thick and bold hair structure, very dark brown hair most likely will not get the color presented on the box. Mine was just a little reddish, even my husband didn't notice any difference. So girls with fine, blonde, light brown hair most likely will get the desired result. Next time i move back to Clairol Texture and Tones... my only love.

I loved the color from the first application. Many people stopped me asking what color I had applied to my hair because they loved the way it looked. After coloring my hair for one year, I found that the color was no longer available. I changed to a different tone, within the same brand, but the results were very poor. My hair didnt look healthy. I didnt give up and decided to search online, maybe someone had an extra box...but, to my surprise drugstore had it. I bought five boxes and will place my next order soon...I cant run the risk of not having it again.

i love to try new colors on my hair, and when i found this color i fell in love with it. i bought a bunch of them, because i don't want to have a problem finding it! i love it so much i have been using it for over a year and am not planning on changing it anytime soon! the color doesn't fade no matter what shampoo i use, its the best i have ever found!
