I have very oily skin, and as a Black female whose skin scars with every zit (and alcohol-containing products slow down healing) I tried this alcohol-free Stridex product hoping it'd prevent my zits. It really hasn't (!) but I notice that the overall texture and appearance of my skin is much improved. Besides, I get the kind of zits that seem to start so far below the skin that I think I'm going to have to get a prescription. But I'm going to continue with this product just for how it makes my face glow and look so much better.

This does make your face feel really clean, but it did NOTHING for my acne. When using this I got used to having breakouts daily. I am currently using Pure Zone astringent, and I haven't gotten a zit since. I'd try this if you have oily skin, but rarely get breakouts.

I've been using these for a few weeks and I think they've been helping keep acne at bay and get rid of breakouts quicker. I like them better than using heavy acne creams. I started out just using them in the mornings (they can be a little strong at first) and now use them morning and night.

This stuff made my face burn really bad, and turn red. After a couple days of using this hoping it'd stop burning, my skin began to flake. I would not recommend this.

Love, love, love this product! It is a great astringent because it doesn't have alcohol in it. SOOO much better than any of those sticky gel astringents from Neutrogena and better than the ones from Clean and Clear. I use it at night and the next day my pimples are better! There is also a significant anti-inflammatory effect, as any redness that I have is significantly reduced as well. Salicylic acid is closely related to aspirin, and I guess this formulation brings that out!

THIS IS THE BEST FOR TREATING AND PREVENTING PIMPLES! I tried tons of different products for acne before finding this product about 2 years ago. I LOVE IT! I use it twice a day (morning and night) and I almost never get breakouts anymore! Since it is alcohol free it doesn't burn or dry out your skin. I know that it works because if I get lazy and don't use it for a day or two I will definitely get a couple of pimples. I have recommended it to a few of my friends and they love it too! Try it!

I love this product! I have very oily skin--so oily that I can feel the weight of it on my skin. While Stridex doesn't improve that aspect, it does keep my skin clear. And since it is alcohol free, it doesn't make my fingers all scaly. I am using maximum strength Oxy right now, because the stupid Kmart in my area doesn't carry Stridex, and I hate it. My fingers are shedding! Also, my skin is overproducing oil to compensate for the drying effects of the alcohol.

My daughter uses this product and it has helped her skin so much. She used to break out constantly, but now that rarely happens. It's almost senior picture time, and she knows she won't have to worry about pimples by using the Stridex pads. Thank you for such a GREAT product.

I have been using this product ever since I first broke out with acne at age 13. I am now 30 years old and I have near perfect skin, and no one believes how old I am. I often am mistaken for a 20 year-old. I use Stridex everyday whether I have acne or not. I rarely have but one pimple (maybe once every 6 months). I could not be happier with this product, and I will always use it.

Great product. Made me a bit dry after washing, but then again I have a combination skin. It is oily, but when I wash it, it becomes ashy-dry, and then oily again later. This got rid of acne and no new ones seem to be coming. You can feel the tingle after you wash your face. I use the Purpose soap, which is really good for sensitive skin like mine, and then I wipe one Stridex across my face in the morning and one at night. Can't complain; my acne has decreased and is going away.
