VERY good face wash! It smells so nice and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.

I've tried so many other brands of cleaner; this is the best one, and it smells good.

I have used this product for over 7 years and am very pleased. I even got my husband to use it -- now he reminds me when we're running low! My ONLY complaint is it's not Cruelty Free/Organic Ingredients.

A simple facial cleanser, leaves no residue, but didn't significantly improve my blemishes.

I have used this product for years, and now my teenage daughter uses too. I have dry/normal skin and my daughter has mild teenage acne. We both love its thorough cleaning ability and gentleness. We both use Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, and Basis is an excellent makeup remover! Either in the shower or sink basin washing, completely removes makeup without irritation and doesn't leave tell tale makeup on towels!! Great price for a great product.

I am only giving this product 3 stars because I developed an allergic reaction to it within 2 days after I started using it. As far as the cleaning qualities and ease of removal from skin it was excellent. The scent was very light and pleasant. If my skin took this cleanser normally, instead of developing rashes along the jaw line, I would keep using this product. NOTE: I am 6 months pregnant, so for those of you who are - maybe it's just a hormonal reaction. I'll probably try it again after I give birth.

I've always loved this cleanser. I enjoy the smell, the texture, and the ultimate results I get from using it. I've used other cleansers but always come back to this one. This cleanser is soothing and refreshing, and perfect after workouts. I recommend using a toner with it. I use Dr. Michelle Copeland Daily Normalizing Toner. The combination is a gentle, yet effective way to restore the proper Ph, eliminate impurities and bacteria, and prepare skin for other treatments.

I am a 17 year old female who suffers from mild acne and combination skin. I bought this product because Basis does not test on animals, which I am against. I had also had a fairly good amount of success in controlling my mild acne with their tea tree oil soap. I also liked the idea that this face wash is soap-free, so I didn't think it would sting my eyes. When using it, I noticed that my face felt somewhat smoother, but a little dry. As well, it DOES sting your eyes, most likely due to the lemongrass or other extracts - so beware. This face wash did not make me break out, but I am not so sure if it helped (I use ZoDerm every night, and I'm in love with the product). The price is good but the results do not meet my expectation. I don't feel very clean after using it. My skin is combination but leans towards oily.
