I think this product is perfect for my combination skin. It seems to be able to balance my extreme oily spots around the nose while giving enough moisture to my excessive dry patches. I will say though if you are someone with very oily skin this product may not be strong enough to combat oil and breakouts. Again, GREAT for combination skin though!

After my old face cleanser was discontinued and I'd tried several others that I didn't like, my friend suggested basis cleanser. I really like it. I feel like it gets my skin really clean without drying it out. I don't get that tight feeling once I've wiped my face dry.

Leaves skin feeling clean but not dried out. I have very sensitive combo skin and this product works wonderfully and does not irratate my face at all. Just love it!

I loved this product. I haven't been able to use it for 4 years because it disappeared off the market. No one could give me information on where I could purchase this product. I'm so happy I have found a place where I can purchase it again. This cleanser is the best cleanser I have ever used. I wash my face twice a day. you can remove your makeup as you wash your face no need for seperate items like a remover then a cleanser. the scent is very relaxing and calming to your body. I can't say enough about this product. since I haven't had it in my life my skin look and feel a mess. Now that I have found it again...I'm looking forward to having that beautiful skin again. I'm 40 and loving it!

I have used many cleansers, some of which are really expensive. I love this. I'd never seen it in the stores and I hope they keep selling it here.

This stuff is great for oily and acne prone skin. Because it's not soap, you don't get totally dried out, but it does a good job of getting your face clean and gives you a really fresh feeling. The only thing I'm not a total fan of is it dries my skin out a little bit, but a light moisturizer is all it takes to balance it out. Although, my fiance does not have a problem at all with the dryness. This stuff has saved our skin, and we have a tube in the shower and on our sink so that we can use it all the time.

I LOVE THIS FACIAL WASH. I ALWAYS HAVE PROBLEMS FINDING A GOOD FACIAL WASH BECAUSE I HAVE OILY AND SENSITIVE SKIN. SO THEY EITHER DRIED AND IRRITATED MY SKIN OR MADE IT OILIER. STILL WORST SOME FELT LIKE THERE WAS A RESIDUE LEFT BEHIND. THIS LEAVES YOUR FACE FEELING SO FRESH AND CLEAN WITHOUT ANY RESIDUE OR DRYNESS. FINALLY I HAVE FOUND A GREAT FACIAL WASH AT 61 YRS OF AGE. THANK YOU BASIC!! PS. I DON'T USE MAKEUP SO I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS WOULD WORK ON REMOVING IT.

I was leery of trying this since my face is a warzone, but my mother's rave reviews convinced me. It smells wonderful, washes away cleanly, and doesn't irritate at all. This is seriously a universal cleanser, it works as well on 50-something dry/combination skin as it does on 20-something acne prone sensitive skin. Please don't stop carrying this!

This face wash leaves a very clean feel but isn't harsh. I enjoyed it so much I ordered it for my sister since she couldn't find it in her local drugstore. The price helps, too.
