This cleanser has a nice, fresh, mild scent and feels pleasant on the skin. My skin is very oily but also starting to age (ugh), and I've found that this product does not quite deep-clean my oily parts as much as I'd like, but the parts of my face that are more combination and go between oily and dry have gotten a nice balance from this cleanser. It Is excellent to use every day and does not sting or tingle or leave a tight feeling. I think for combination skin this is an excellent cleanser.

I purchased this product as I was looking for a good cleanser that i could use daily and switch off with my exfoliant,but didn't want to pay a premium. I bought this based on the reviews I read and am happy with my purchase. It's a gentle cleanser that leaves my skin feeling clean and for the cost, it's a great option. I have combination skin and I feel like it keeps it very soft and moisturized.

I love this product. It's all natural and it doesn't irritate or dry up my skin.

My family and I have used this product since it was first introduced. It does not have a perfume smell which is great for people with allergies to odors like I have. It does not dry your skin since it is soap free. Gentle but through cleansing. I used to be able to buy it at local stores, but not anymore. The Drugstore is the only one that sells it. I am very glad. I don't know what I would use if I were not able to buy this product anymore.

I use this every morning and night. I have always had problem skin, but when I read the other reviews on this I decided to try it and have been very happy with it. My skin looks the best it has ever looked. I also like the clean fresh smell. I have been using this for over a year now and plan to continue.

When I first bought this product I was little nervous about the ingredients. First time I used it, I was one happy customer. When my store discontinued it; I was very much upset. It took me about two years to locate this product again. When I went to my drug store I found it I was verry pleased. I just found out just today they were going to discontinue this product due the fact they were getting bought off from another drug store. Basis cleared my face so much I don't know what to say. This is a great daily facial cleanser for all skin types. Very gentle but good.

When I was in college this came in the campus trial pack they gave everyone and I've been using it ever since, about 10 years now! I'm an experimenter when it comes to beauty products but when you find something that works you keep using it. It cleans make-up very easily, ESPECIALLY eye make-up, including waterproof mascara which is surprising for something so gentle. I have combination skin so it's hard to find a cleanser that's not too dry on the dry parts or too moisturizing for the oily parts. It leaves my face feeling 'normal', not filmy, tight or oily when rinsed off. For the last couple of years I've not been able to find the "cleaner clean" gel, only the bars which I don't like as well, and when I called Biersdorf they were able to tell me that no one within 100 miles of me is ordering this and referred me to this website. I don't know why more people don't use it; it's far better than any of the very expensive things I tried after not being able to find it on the shelves in my area. i use this cleansert everyday and my daughter, a teenager, also likes this Basis cleanser. it is gentle and effective. i LOVE it.
