use it daily at night, cleans my skin very well but not leaving it dry. this is not a soap so does not leave any residue on ur face. this product was suggested by a dermatologist years ago//I only used the bar but now have the gel form and love it.

i've been looking for a good cleanser and with all these rave reviews decided to give it a try. unfortunately, i had a bad reaction to it which went away after i switched.

I've been using Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Cleanser for years, and decided it was time for a change. I have the kind of skin that gets tight and itchy when I don't use moisturizer, but is oily by the end of the day. I get the once-a-month mini breakouts, nothing unmanageable. I've been using this cleanser twice a day for about three weeks now. I haven't had any unusual breakouts or irritation. The scent is very perfume-y, but I stopped noticing after a couple days. The texture and tone of my skin has improved; my husband says he can see the difference. I have to say, though, I think it's my weekly regimen of Biore pore strips and a mud mask rather than the Basis. This is just a simple, no frills cleanser that does exactly that: cleanse. No magic, no dazzling results, just clean. Lots of reviewers complained about not finding it anywhere except drugstore.com, but I found mine at my local supermarket along with the bar version.

Seriously, the best facewash I've ever used. I'm the type who has sensetive, yet oily skin, so I've tried so many kinds. None of the name brand stuff has worked. Basis is so good, I go to great lengths to order it online, since stores don't seem to carry it any longer. I highly recommend it!

I love everything about this product! I have combination skin and it works great! I hate eye makeup remover and using this I never have to use that again. Awesome stuff. I tried a bunch of different products all at once and I did break out so i'm not sure what did that. It may have been just clearing out my pores or simply that time of the month. But now my skin is looking much better. I think I am hooked on this!

Best cleanser on the market and I've tried the expensive ones as well. Cleared my skin and leaves it soft and smooth. Gentle enough to use twice a day.

I use this product every day, and I highly recommend it. I went to drugstore.com because I couldn't find it at my local Pharmacy-realted store anymore. This is a great product. I have very sensitive skin, and this face wash doesn't irritate me at all.

This is a nice light cleanser, but it still seems to dry out my sensitive skin. I also find the fragrance a bit strong and after a while it seems to perfumey.

I used to use a ph balanced liquid soap by Redken. Needless to say, they don't make it anymore. My skin looked beautiful always. Ever since, I have been trying different products trying to replace it. I tried Purpose by Johnson & Johnson and it was not good at all. This is the first product I have found that is similar. It lifts all the make-up off and gives a good lather. Follow with toner afterwards and moisturizer before bed, and your skin will be glowing.

I love this product because both me and my husband can use it. I use it to remove the make up for the day and he uses it to wash away all the dirt from his construction job. My husband has sensitive skin - it's easy on his skin and it gets the job done. As for me, it gets all the gunk off my face, leaving it soft and smooth.
