My husband has been a fan of Basis for a long time. It used to be available to us locally but we haven't been able to find it. I just happened to be poking around on Drugstore.com and found it. This is a really good cleanser. It doesn't have the additional junk you find in most commercial cleansers. Works great for all skin types without drying or causing excess oil production. This is a great product! You won't regret it if you try it. We were trying other cleansers during the time that we couldn't find it and none of the other products worked like Basis works.

This is by far the "best" cleanser I have ever used!! Refreshing, gentle and my skin glistens. It never dries out my skin. I would not bother with the high end products from the department stores and prefer this to the cleansers from the dermatologist...I've tried them all. Never stop selling this. Great for any age skin. Two thumbs up!!!!!

I have been looking for a good face wash for what seems like ages. Finally I can stop asking my mom to send me gentle face wash from Europe. This has a rather harsh fruity smell, but it is incredibly gentle. I used to get scaly dry patches from cetaphil face wash, but not from this product. I am very happy I got it and would recommend it to anyone, especially those with problem skin that's dry and acne prone at the same time. Love it, I wonder why I've never seen it in any store.

I have never been loyal to any one cleanser, mainly because I never tried one that I was thrilled with. After using this for only a few days now, this is the one I will finally be loyal too! It's by far the best one I have ever used. I honestly didn't know you could get your face that clean without feeling completely stripped. I always use witch hazel after washing my face as a toner/astringent. The last one I tried (I think Clean and Clear - it was purple) left so much behind I needed to use witch hazel twice to get rid off all the dirt and makeup left behind. With Basis, there is no trace of dirt or makeup at all on the cotton pad. I love it. So glad I finally got around to trying this one.

I discovered this in 7 years ago when I was given a free sample after the Chicago Marathon. I love, love, love it! I've been using it ever since!

Ever since my usual cleanser was discontinued, I have been searching for and trying out new ones. I have tried expensive dermatologist recommended cleansers and every cheap drugstore brand you can think of. I bought this because of the great reviews and the fact that the company does not test on animals. I was hesitant to try it and doubtful it would work especially considering the price. Well, it does work. It cleanses without drying me out. Almost everything makes me breakout and this hasn't. My skin has been looking and feeling so much better. I HIGHLY recommend giving this cleanser a shot.

Just a small amount makes a fresh smelling foam that deep cleans and rinses off easily. Leaves skin feeling clean, not greasy. Helps reduce acne breakouts when used daily. I love this cleanser!

Use in the shower and every night. I've tried others since this is hard to find in stores, but keep coming back to this. Even my husband loves it- fresh, clean smell that's not girly. Only annoyance is that water gets stuck in the cap in the shower.

I usually buy expensive cleansers so I wanted to save money and buy a cheaper brand. I have sensitive but acne prone skin. My nose was peeling but my forehead didn't feel clean. It smells great so I use this is a body wash and works great. Doesn't dry out my body. This is not a soap free product by the way.

I think this product is perfect for my combination skin. It seems to be able to balance my extreme oily spots around the nose while giving enough moisture to my excessive dry patches. I will say though if you are someone with very oily skin this product may not be strong enough to combat oil and breakouts. Again, GREAT for combination skin though!
