I should have known just by the color! Every time I use a bar soap that is translucent and red, it dries my face out (must be all those chemicals). Anyway, Basis GENTLE bar works better than this; they are both drying although this one takes the cake, it feels like there is a film on your face after rinsing and then about 2 minutes afterward your skin is dry as can be, FLAKY and a little tight. NOT FOR DRY SKIN PEOPLE/sensitive skin people. I have tried close to 50 soaps in the past year and believe me this one is irritating. Reminds me of those Neutrogena chemical bars that make your face burn!

I love this soap; it's the only soap I've used for about 7 years. It was recommended by my OB and regular doctor for sensitive skin. I've tried everything out there and this is the only soap that works.

The smell picks me up in the morning. I love it because I don't always have to slather on moisturizer after my shower. I highly recommend this.

Great bath bar for sensitive skin, rinses clean. Mild pleasant fragrance. Rounded shape makes the super-slippery bar a little difficult to hold onto, but that's my only complaint. I've tried other products, and keep returning to this one.
