Grandpa's pine tar soap is really good stuff. If you have any kind of blemish, psoriasis or eczema, you'll get relief with this soap. They make a shampoo that is also excellent if you have any of the above on your scalp. I don't find the fragrance to be at all offensive. Personally, I rather like it.

One of those few products that live up to its claims. For troubled skin (rashes, sensitivity, itching, especially dry), you can't buy a better soap. Don't worry about the strong odor when you take it out of the box, it only leaves a fresh delicate aroma on your skin. I started using Grandpas Pine 10 years ago for eczema on my hands, now I use it regularly in the shower. Wonderful stuff.

At first, the smell can be quite strong, but you get used to it. Ever since I have used this soap, I haven't had any breakouts or skin imperfections of any kind. It is the only product I use on my face. I gave a few bars to my friend who was suffering from severe psoriasis. It has drastically helped her condition, and it has only been a few weeks. I strongly recommend this product, and swear by it.

The soap is a little stinky, (like burnt wood) but it works nicely for skin conditions. It also deodorizes well, and lasts a long time. And the smell does not stick once you rinse the soap off, so you can end up smelling like whatever body lotion or perfume or deodorant you wear.

I admit the smell is weird, but my family has never used it for bathing, but for laundry. Grandpa's pine tar soap works as a wonderful stain remover! Just dampen the area with the stain, rub the soap on the stain (don't worry if there is a brown color) and toss it in the wash and -- Ta-Da! No more stain.

Grandpa's Wonder Pine Tar Soap may appeal to those who like old fashioned types of boyish soaps. If it smelled like pine, that wouldn't have been too bad. But, it smells like mustiness mixed with I don't know what. Luckily the smell doesn't linger on me. It rinses right off. Don't use if you want a sensory shower experience. It works reasonably well for psoriasis, etc. but I wouldn't call it a miracle cure.
