I keep a package of these in each bathroom and use them weekly to clean the toilets. The plastic wand hangs conveniently on a hook attached to the tank for easy storage. When used regularly, these pads are more than efficient at removing dirt and build-up. After scrubbing the bowl, I always apply the toilet cleaning gel for preventive maintenance between cleanings.

I love the fact that they're disposable and that the wand is long enough that I never have to fear touching the water or being splashed with filth. Occasionally I will add a generous splash of bleach to the bowl, let sit for 30-60 minutes, and then clean with the pad for added freshness.

I have been using this product for years and am having an increasingly difficult time finding it in retail stores; thankfully, I can always rely on Drugstore.com!

These heavy duty scrubber refills are better than the flushable, paper-ish ones. Not a bad price on sale but probably not worth it regular price.

I usually clean my toilet bowl every 1-2 weeks. After years of using the Scrubbing Bubbles Flushable Scubs I recently switched to systems with an abrasive pad - Clorox and Scrubbing Bubbles. Both systems clean and remove stains better than the flushable system because of the more durable & abarasive pad. Both have a bluing agent along with a cleaning agent. The Scrubbing Bubbles pads use the same wand as the flushable scrubs - so it is an easy transition if you are currently using the flushable scrubbers. The pads are rectangular (about 2in x 3in) and larger than those of Clorox.

However, I prefer the way the Clorox pads clean. The pads are octagonal which seems to make it easier to reach under the lip of the toilet rim. The bluing agent and foaming action also seems better than the Scrubbing Bubbles system. It also comes with a plastic cannister for the pads & stand for the wand, which makes it more convenient & sightly to store. If you are just switching from a conventional toilet brush to a wand with disposable pads, I would recommend getting the Clorox system.

Both systems have pads which are disposable but not flushable.

I rate this a 3.5 stars because I think the Clorox system is better for reasons above. If the Clorox system had durable but flushable pads, THAT would get 5-stars.

This product lasts much longer than the flushable cleaning heads that come with the original cleaning system (plastic wand plus scrubbing head). This one has less of the blue detergent in it, so as soon as the blue detergent is gone I use Comet to replace it. The toilet stays clean because this system is so easy to use you can clean it 3 times a day if needed. You can attach a new head, let the blue stuff bleed out in a clean toilet, then use the wand and your favorite cleaner to clean the outside and behind the toilet.

This is a great and efficient tool for cleaning my toilet. I love that there's little waste but such a good disposable scrubber, and it keeps my hands clean. If you're starting with a very dirty toilet, it might not get out all the stains. Bleach is better for that. But for weekly cleaning, these are the best!
