Have tried other hot rollers, usually with little good effect. Decided to try these after reading reviews, and I like 'em so far!! Just finished using them, and as some other reviewers said, there's not really any curl that is achieved, but they give good height to my crown, and some body to my fine hair. 5 rollers is just the right number for me, and they take up very little room on the shelf. One thing I especially like is that the rollers themselves are very light, and the clips very good, so they're not constantly trying to fall out of my hair!! Other traditional rollers were heavy and the clips poor, so were always slipping out before they cooled.
I will use these whenever I need a lift to my style.

I love these rollers. I have fine, straight, shoulder length hair with no body, and once I blow dry my hair, using these 5 large rollers adds volume and a little bend to my hair. It is a small, compact unit that I leave conveniently on my bath vanity. They heat quickly, come with special hair clips that hold the rollers pretty securely in my hair, and are flocked for comfort. This is my second set, because I use them so much, the flocking eventually wears off and the lid cracks. The latter problem does not affect its performance, however. An improvement would be to design a lid that does not do this, AND add a auto shutoff feature, in case you forget to unplug it! It does not seem to get too hot, however, if this happens.

I just cut my hair 4 inches and now my hair is at the bottom of my neck.....it still works great and I just ordered another set. They lasted me for years. I like the metal clips so I use them but still I have the plastic comb like clip and I have never broken one.

I've owned these Conair curlers for a year, and recently bought my second set--only because I use them daily, the top has cracked (like some other reviewers of this product have experienced, hence the 4 star rating), and I'm afraid to be without them if something else happens, so I bought a back up! They are the perfect size for me--jumbo, to add body to my medium length bob. They are flocked, so they don't slip out of my fine hair. They heat up quickly, and arrive with the perfect hair clips--not the cheap ones that pop out right after you put them in. Also, there are only five, which are just enough to add height to the top of my head. Of all the curlers that I have purchased over the years, these are the best ones I've owned.

They definitely do not get as hot as other sets,but light weight & european electric friendly,they are much better than a curling iron for me on the road.

I really wanted my long hair to get a nice curl,but not able to-----my hair is too long (waist length) for curlers to work---NOT the products fault!! I'm sure it will be great when my get my hair cut.

I like them even though 5 rollers are definitely not enough for my hair. They do their job though. No miracle but they work and give your hair body and some lift. Good size rollers.

The curlers are not too hot to the touch which leaves for easy handling. The curlers leave kinks at the ends of the hair even with careful rolling. The unit is not travel sized - fairly bulky to be respresented as a travel sized unit.

the good news is they get hot quickly.
the bad news is the clips leave a mark in your hair.
the really bad news is that my curlers died after about
4 months. I plugged them in and nothing. Dead. I won't replace
them with the same kind. I'll keep looking.
