good for loose curls

I like the speed of heating and the sturdy construction. My previous brush iron worked wonderfully but kept losing its "teeth." The turbo feature is also helpful for producing a more lasting curl. For tighter curls, I probably should have bought one with a smaller diameter. That's really the only downside-that there wasn't a 1" available with the same features.

This was a replacement for A Helen of Troy 1 1/2 barrel hot brush. I actually like this one better, as it heats up in one minute, has multiple heat settings and the brush bristles are more like a comb than a traditional brush.

Long hair gets tangled easily. Hair is extremely hard to remove once tangled. I almost had to cut my hair. Needs a release button.

I just received this curling iron. I purchased it based on a previous review that it corrects bed head. I have not used it on clean just blow-dried hair yet, but it really did a great job of adding body and polish to my hair that was shampooed yesterday. If it does a good job of styling just washed and blow-dried hair, I will purchase a second one. The price is great!

I love this product, because I can better control it than a regular curling iron, since the brush grasps the hair. I have never burned myself with this, whereas I quit using a regular curling iron because I kept burns on my forehead and the side of my head. I have multiple sclerosis and I can hold this much better.
