This is a great iron, for a great price. Heats up fast, will curl and straighten hair. And it seamlessly switches voltages if you travel to 220 volt countries! The only improvement I would make would be to put the combs in slots so they can be removed for cleaning.

I've owned several of these for over 20 years. My daughters and granddaughters, ages 12-43, now have them and it is the preferred, favorite hair styling tool for all ages, hair types and styles.

I owned a old-school curling iron and more recently a curling wand and neither really worked the way I wanted it to. The curling iron took a while and the curls were never frizz free. The curling wand always burned me and the curls were too tight. This wand is 99% perfect. The only con is it can snag hair but it gives wonderful volume and lovely loose curls.

I needed something to help tame my new bob. My hair is fine and mostly straight. This helps me to shape and curl under if I don't have time to blow dry.

When I purchased this, I needed a replacement for the curling brush I had. However, I didn't check the size of the barrel and this is 1/2inch bigger than the one I had. I didn't think it would work but decided to give it a try anyway. It was great! I'm glad I got a bigger one, now I know it's easier to use!

I use this "brush" every day and it's never let me down. You can have super, hot heat or low heat, and it works well on hard-to-curl, thick hair. Can't find them anywhere, other than drugstore.com, so I'm buying two today. Always have to have a back-up. In my experience, using high heat in every circumstance, they last about two-to-three years, before having to be replaced. Mine is slowing down, so I'm replacing it before it totally dies. You cannot find anything better, anywhere, for the price! I recommend!!

Since there are so many positive reviews, I can only imagine that this only works for certain hair types, mine unfortunately not being one of those types. I have fine hair but a lot of it and it is pretty long. I wash my hair at night and when I wake up in the morning it is unevenly wavy. I was just looking for an quick easy way to make it look nice and smooth. However, this just did absolutely nothing for my hair. Really no other way to say it....just didn't do anything at all. Better luck to you if you decide to buy it.

I use this curling brush every day. I have shorter hair, but it gives me just the right amount of curl and volume. The end of the brush stays cool enough, so that I don't burn my fingers. The brush heats up very quickly. This is the second one I've ordered. I wish they lasted longer. I've had the other one for a little over a year. Drugstore.com is the only place that I've been able to find this brush, and the price is right.

I hunted everywhere for a replacement when my curling iron (identical to this one) finally died of old age (had it 10+ years). It gives my fine hair just the right amount of lift at the roots without burning my hair or scalp -- the many selections help you find just the right setting for your type of hair. Gives me natural looking body without the usual curling iron "crimp" with other models.
