Phisoderm Tear-Free Cream Wash rates 4 out of 5 stars, from 46 customer reviews.Smells So Nice
by NrseMom424[Verified Buyer] in Sandston,VA on 2/4/09
Pros: Nice fragrance, Skin feels soft
Cons: Wish it would suds more
Describe Yourself: Parent of Two or More Children, Registered Nurse
Best Uses: Bathing, Hygiene
Bottom Line: recommended
I purchased this product based on the reviews posted here. I am familiar with the original phisoderm which I used for my first daughter 14 years ago. Unlike the original this has such a nice fragrance. My baby smells so good after I bathe her with it. I use it on her hair as well without any issues. Hair is left soft with a pleasant smell. I decided to to get this because my baby started to develop a fine rash on her body after using other baby washes. I do find that I have to use a little more to get some type of suds. I am glad that I purchased this product because my daughter no longer has the fine rash.

Pros: Cleans great, Extra gentle, Great smell
Best Uses: Bathing, Hygiene
Bottom Line: recommended
I'm 35. When I was a little girl, it was in a green bottle and smelled different. The formula has changed with the addition of the 'baby' scent, but I like it just as much. I use it as a facial cleanser on a puff with olive oil and as an intimate cleanser. I'ts even BETTER than dove for those sensitive areas.

My baby smells really fresh and clean after I use Phisdoderm. I had used it for my older children but have been unable to find it in stores recently until I found it here online. Now my older daughter wants to use it too and smell like her brother!

Pros: Light new born baby smell, Non-drying, Smells great
Describe Yourself: First Time Parent
Best Uses: Bathing, Hygiene, Washing
Bottom Line: recommended
I give my son a bath with this every night. I know some people are against giving baths every night, but this soap doesn't dry out his skin. He is a 15 month old and he still gets to smell like a newborn.

Pros: Comfortable
Best Uses: Bathing, Hygiene, Washing
Bottom Line: recommended
In addition to smelling great and cleaning gently, this is also a great "intimate cleanser" for women who are glycerin-sensitive. If you read the ingredients, you'll notice that this product contains no glycerin. It's cheaper and more economical than Sliquid Intimate Cleanser, a product I used to swear by.

I was so happy to find this product! I used it when my 14 year old daughter was a baby, and now that I have a newborn I tried to find it at stores but could not. It smells great, and is very gentle to baby's skin. It makes a great addition to a care package for new mothers.
Phisoderm Tear-Free Cream Wash rates 1 out of 5 stars, from 46 customer reviews.Badly Irritated my dry patches
by Deb[Verified Reviewer] in Sarasota, FL on 7/18/08
Pros: Easily Stowed
Bottom Line: not recommended
After reading reviews, I was convinced that this would certainly not irritate my sensitive skin; after all, it is made for infants, correct? pH balanced, and rave reviews, as well. Therefore, I am very disappointed and surprised that it made my dry patches of skin HURT, making them even more irritated and dry than before! I even used it for two weeks to give it a chance. It also made my normal areas break out. Fragrance irritation, perhaps? (I am going back to Kiss My Face olive oil soap; I only stopped using it because it is messy and unsightly to keep by the sink, but it is so worth it--no irritation or film at all.)

My baby was born with eczema. Everything was too harsh for her. Her dad bought Phisoderm for it was the first time I was seeing it. I love it. The only problem is now we are having a hard time getting it here in Jamaica. So I came online looking for it and Im happy I found this site. I can now purchase it have it mailed to my mom and she will then mail it to me.

I really love this stuff. I found it online here and never had heard of it before. I am so glad I tried it. I have used it on myself and my three sons (all under age 8) and they also like it. It doesn't bother our skin, which is sensitive. I wish they sold it locally but they don't. I would buy it again in a heartbeat, especially if I had a newborn. Wish it came in a bigger bottle. Since 4 of us out of our family of 5 use it, it doesn't last real long. Husband prefers his "man soap".
