My husband uses this exclusively - won't use any other brand. It works great, smells little and NO residue.

Other brands will burn your eyes if you rub them a while after use. Purell will not irritate like that. I tried cheaper brands and I love the original. I also like to eat with my fingers. Other brands made food taste funny.

Our office wants to keep everyone safe and as free from germs as possible. The workplace must continue even when our children get the flu. To be productive and to keep everyone coming to work without the threat of spreading a virus to each other, we have placed Purell in various stations that everyone uses. Purell is the only hand sanitizer used, that does kill germs according to a survey broadcasted on our local news station. We tried to find Purell in our area, but with the threat of the Swine Flu, it was impossible to find. [...]. Thanks

This is a must while traveling & after using any commercial bathroom. For a few pennies you get peace of mind.

As an at home caregiver, my hands must be as germ-free as possible before administering fluids through IV tubing. Purell was recommended to me by medical professions to be as good as, if not better than, soap & water to pre-clean my hands. We go through about 6 bottles a month. Using the Original Purell version that frequently does dry out your hands & moisturizing lotions MUST be applied after each use to keep your hands from drying & cracking severely...Don't bother to ask me how I know! Still, the product is very good. Does what it says it will. Any strong scent is only present until the product dries off of the surface of your skin, & then becomes nearly undetectable. There is no residue remaining after it dries.

This has alcohol in it, so it will dry your skin; however, I use it faithfully, because it works. I don't find that the "moisturizers" in the product are all that moisturizing. I do have sensitive dry skin, but I have found that it helps alot to follow up with lotion each and every time I use the Purell.
