I have low back issues. I've had 2 lumbar surgeries on 2 different disks. I find if my back gets at ALL cold, it "locks-up" and I can't do much. Heat pads are quite helpful, but most are too expensive. I stick one of these pads on the outside of my boxers from the waist band down... and I don't have any pain... even when it is quite cold outside. I find they last for 12-14 hours... sometimes longer. A wonderful product, and great value. Cheap enough for everyday use, if required. I ski 40-60 days a year, and I'll use these anytime I think the cold will upset my back.

Elderly father with severe back issues really likes these - and I like that they do not adhere directly to tender skin. They stay warm for a full 12 hours or longer and provide a nice relieving sensation to sore areas.

Great Product Works well and last the 12 hours & sticks well
This product has made it much easier for me to walk through a store or sit in my car for extended periods by preventing the severe muscle spasms I get from the severe osteoarthritis that I have throughout my spine. The ease of use is a big plus for me. I've been using it for at least 3 yrs. now and if it didn't help I wouldn't have stayed with it.
I've used this item for several years and highly recommend it to anyone that needs some type of heat to alleviate pain. Because it's self-adhesive, it's a huge help when I have to go to the stores and/or ride in a car for long distances.
Open the package and expose the pad to the air. No kneading or shaking is necessary. The pad will heat up within 20 minutes after opening.
Remove the paper from the adhesive backing to adhere the pad to clothing. Do not adhere the pad directly to the skin. Remove the pad immediately if it becomes too warm and uncomfortable.
Once the pad has cooled or you are finished using it, gently peel it off clothing and discard of it properly.
