Great product- I have my husband using it too. I just received our second set. Now we have some at home and at work or in the car when we travel. The velcro allows you to hook them together so you can wrap them around a sholderblade or low back. Stays put. We try and store them in the freezer, but the always seem to be in use!

I have arthritic knees and purchased this to use after exercising. However, no matter how long I had this Bed Buddy in the freezer, it simply didn't get very cold. Further, what little coolness I felt from it seemed to escape before I really felt relief.

I have osteoarthritis in my knee and use this almost daily after I exercise and while I'm watching TV. It's small and I like the strap that allows me to move around while using it.

I have two of the body buddies. I use them on my back and shoulders. I got these thinking they'd be great for my shoulders. They don't stay on the shoulders. They'd work for your knees or elbows, but just don't work to stay on shoulders. Plus, they do not heat up well, like the body buddies do. Disappointing.

I used them for shoulder problems. They stay cold long enough for maximum benefit. Heavy enough to stay in place and comfortable to the skin. No slipping. Velcro works well when using it for ankle, wrist, or elbow to keep in place.

It doesn't heat or cool enough to be of much effect, even after 24 hours in the freezer. And if you heat it enough to be effective, the cover will melt in the microwave. Plus, it's too large to fit flat in my microwave. It got stuck going around on my turntable and melted even at recommended times. The small size worked better.
