This was purchased for my husband's terrible sinus haedaches. He used to use a wet towel which he heated up in the microwave when I bought this for him he used it and told me this was the BEST gift I Ever got him!!!

As a heat pack this works wonders for my TMJ disorder-related pain. Only downside is that it smells really funny when heated. If you've ever tried to microwave raw pinto beans to make a heat pack... that's kind of like the smell of this.

Cold Pack: Place in plastic bag and place in freezer overnight.
Hot Pack: Microwave for 45 seconds.

If additional warmth is desired, continue microwaving in 20 second intervals- not to exceed 1 1/2 minutes total time per use.

Microwave heating times vary. Always test for hot spots and overall temperature before using.
