I was recommended this product when I needed some ointment for my baby's insect bites, but this doesnt seem to be the right choice. However, it has been a great moisturizer as my baby's skin becomes more supple, as it is light and non-greasy. I don't like the smell, though.

This was good for the usual aloe stuff, like sun burn. Didn't help with acne. However, I did discover the formula for the best hand lotion ever using this stuff... just mix together 1 part apricot oil (like from Burt's Bees) and 3 parts aloe gel, ajusting the amounts if you want. I put it on my hands before I went to bed and they felt soft but not greasy in the morning! They even stayed soft after washing my hands a few times. I work with little kids, so I wash my hands all the time, which makes them quite dry, but since I made my "Aloe Apricot Lotion Potion, it hasn't been a problem.

I think this just may be the cure for acne. It's pure aloe, so it heals. I've suffered from acne all the way into my 30's. This is only thing that I've found to work, and work quickly.

My husband and I have been using this product for over 10 years and would not be without it. It is wonderful for burns, chapped, and irritated skin. We are now retired and living in Mexico. Whenever we are back in the 'states,' this is one of the products at the top of our list to stock up on. I also use it on our aging dogs' "elbows," which become sore and cracked at times. If you have a very irritated area, it will burn at first when you apply it, but within a minute will soothe. The trick is to keep applying at least two or three times the first day, and continue each day until the irritation is gone. As a preventative measure, apply after a shower if you have an area prone to irritation. And everyone should have this product in the kitchen and their medicine cabinet for burns.

This stuff is great, since I love all natural products. It does work great as a hair/brow gel as well.

Things you can do with 100% aloe: facial moisturizer, hair gel, post-wax treatment, razor burn treatment, sunburn treatment, hand cream, foot cream... it's pretty much a replacement for almost everything else. I have very sensitive skin, and aloe tames the redness like nothing else. It has also improved the texture of my skin. I wouldn't be without it.

Good for irritation , I use daily as a moisturizer. Makes a good hair gel, too.

Good on sunburn and irritation. GREAT as a hair gel. I can see the difference in my hair's condition since using this, and nothing holds better- and it doesn't even get hard. Amazing.

I bought this a few days ago for a bad sunburn on my shoulders. Even though this has no alcohol, it did sting on the burn. But, a few days of using this and things are much better. I read the reviews and I tried it on my mild to moderate acne on face and back, and it is great. Also, I get KP on my upper arms, and this seems to be helping. And good on my awful cuticles! If it really can do all of this, what savings for the wallet. If your skin is very dry, you may need to combine with something more emollient. My skin is oily in places and dry in others, and I live in an extremely dry climate, yet this seems to moisturize well enough for me. FYI, those of you wanting a larger size, I did find a 12 oz. bottle in my local grocery. Perhaps this site will start carrying it.
