As a moisturizer, I did not find it especially good. BUT don't forget aloe vera is great for minor burns! I recently poured BOILING hot tea over my hand and after putting my hand in cold water, I realized that I had this gel in my bathroom (I use it every day to calm hair flyaways), so I just spread one thin layer on top of the burn. When it felt hot again, I spread another layer. Then it stopped hurting. On the next day it didn't even look like anything had happened! Last time the same thing happened to me but I did not have the gel and I got blisters and my skin got so bad for a whole week. Now I store my gel in the fridge just in case!!

This is one of my new favorite products. I use it as a hair gel on my dreadlocks, I use it on my skin to hold in moisture on my face to help cool, and to my surprise it actually lessened my acne and has made significant difference to my acne scars!!!! I'm so happy.

This is the best! It tightens my skin and soothes it, now I have no redness. It controls oil very well, and my used-to-be oily skin is dry, so I'm going to have to find a richer moisturizer with this. That's why I took off one star. It also works great as an eye gel. Used on my body, I don't have any shaving rashes anymore and skin is smooth as butter. It's also helping to clear up the pimples on my chest and back. Awesome product!

A great product, and inexpensive. I use it as a facial moisturizer and hair gel every day. My face is very oily and acne prone, but I still need a moisturizer, and Fruit of the Earth is great because it absorbs quickly and is not the least bit greasy. I have super straight fine hair which gets oily quickly, and as a hair gel Fruit of the Earth provides light control, does not weigh my hair down, and makes it super soft. I have tried tons of expensive styling products which just make my hair look stiff or greasy - none of them work as well as Fruit of the Earth. It's great for traveling, because I just need to pack one container instead of styling products and moisturizers.

I am currently undergoing radiation treatment for breast cancer and the hospital gave me Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera 100% gel to use after each treatment. The cooling and soothing effect helps the radiated skin and gives me some relief. It is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it to anyone who has irritated skin. I will continue to use this product after treatments are finished as a daily moisturizing therapy.

This stuff is great for my sensitive skin. Even using a great razor and an exfoliant, I've always ended up with dry itchy skin. This pure aloe is the best product to use for shaving. I don't even have to use anything afterward. My skin is soft and smooth and nick free. I've even used it on my face to cool it and moisturize it after I get out of my hot tub. I've used every shaving product on the market and paid a fortune for products that ended up doing nothing more that soap and water. Some of the heavier items have ruined the sharpness of brand new razor blades. This is the absolute best by far.

I absolutely adore this product! I use it as my facial moisturizer and a hand cream (I add a few drops of essential oil to it to make it smell yummy), because it isn't greasy at all and doesn't make my acne prone skin break out. In fact, it is very soothing.
