AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 69 customer reviews.Excellent moisturizer
by Grandma Sandy[Verified Buyer] in Granada Hills, CA on 10/15/09
Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well, Not Greasy
Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer
Best Uses: Deep Moisturization, Dry/Chapped Skin, Winter Dryness
Bottom Line: recommended
My dermatologist recommended AmLactin for my very dry, sensitive skin. I use it on both my face and body, and it works really well. There is nothing "not so great" about it, unless you're looking for fragrance. AmLactin is fragrance-free for those of us with sensitive skin.

AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 69 customer reviews.Keratosis Pilaris under control!
by RMFINDC[Verified Buyer] in Gaithersburg, MD on 7/29/09
Pros: Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well, Softens Skin
Cons: Leaves light film
Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer
Best Uses: After Shower/Bath, Bedtime, Deep Moisturization, Keratosis Pilaris
Bottom Line: recommended
Used this product years ago when it was only available as a prescription -- worked great on the keratosis pilaris on my arms. Now my little girl (4) has the same skin condition, and the product works wonderfully on her. This is intense moisture, so it does leave your skin feeling slightly sticky, but I have gotten used to that. It's worth the healing properties. Interesting that this is also constrained for dry, cracked heels. Will have to try that usage.

Cons: Doesn't Absorb Well
Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer
Best Uses: After Shower/Bath, Deep Moisturization, Dry/Chapped Skin, Eczema, Winter Dryness

I started Amlactin after seeing other reviews. I suffer from KP and this really seems to exfoliate my skin and fade the left over red spots that would usually take so long to vanish. I definitely recommend this product. It is the only thing that worked on my very dry and cracked heels amazingly!

I had extremely dry/ cracked feet, having to use bandaids from the cracks most of the time, it hurt to walk. I started applying this 2 times a day and withing a couple weeks, they are healed. After years of suffering I feel I found a miracle!!! I still apply at least one time a day to keep them soft. Thanks!!! Worth the price!! A little goes a long way when applying.

I love this product. I've had dry rough skin for 45 years. Now I'm starting to see annoying lines and wrinkles on my cheeks. My doctor recommened AmLactin. If he weren't married I'd kiss him! This stuff is fantastic. I use it head to toe after showering. After it has absorbed into my skin I use my regular face cream and makeup. And the lines all but disappear. I've been using it for about three months now and think I'll buy stock in the company!

I was given this product by my dermatologist. Have to admit that I quit using it because of the smell. But, if a product works, it works. Have just recently gone back to using it, again.
