I have a combination skin and just wanted to switch to gentle one because my skin needs to be relaxed. Smells so good. I have used cleansing oil and this item is less effective to remove heavy make up.

I use the Dr.Hauschka foundation, toner and moisturizing day cream and like them. I really wanted to like the cleansing milk, but it's not effective at removing makeup and after I started using it my complexion got worse.

We have been switching to toxin-free products (harder than you think but so worth it) and this is my favorite switch by far. For the first few days, it feels strange for your face to feel so moisturized right after being washed. It almost feels like you couldn't have cleaned it properly. However, this is just your skin NOT being over-dried by the face wash. I used to have peeling skin which always required a moisturizer after washing my face. I have never needed a moisturizer after using this product. My skin feels so healthy now! Even my husband has switched and loves it :)

I love this product. My skin feels smooth after using it. I have sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts and this has helped a lot. I have tried many products from the drugstore, the cosmetic counter and those recommended by estheticians. This one is the best. I also like that it removes eye makeup gently.

Overall, I am very impressed with this cleanser. I have combination skin. It's gentle formula neutralizes my oily areas and moisturizes my dry spots. I started using it to soothe my skin after using a drying glycolic cleaser. It has definitely balanced my skin and reduced redness. It does take a little getting used to because it doesn't have a lot of rinsability but this is what makes it so moisturizing.It however makes a HORRIBLE eye make-up remover. (see other reviews). The lack of rinsability leaves an irritating film around the eye, even after washing and tissuing off. Plus the product is scented and the fragrance stings the eye. [...]

This whole line of products is outstanding, but I simply love the Cleansing Milk if not only for it's heavenly scent. I have dry skin and this is perfect to use right before bed. If you are used to facial cleaners that are sudsy this line may disappoint you. The whole philosophy of Dr. Hauschka is to balance the skin and help the skin produce what it needs instead of temporarily supplying it, i.e. it's holistic. This product leaves your skin velvety soft, no need to apply additional moisturizer.

but was hesitant to use it soley as a facial cleanser. I have oily skin so felt like I needed something stronger as a cleanser. It is pretty expensive to be using only as an eye makeup remover, but it does work very well. Very gentle and doesn't sting the eyes. Again, probably best for normal/dry skin as a facial cleanser.

Moisten face with warm water; spread Cleansing Milk evenly while gently working it over the face. Remove thoroughly with warm water or a warm moist cloth. Follow with Dr.Hauschka toner or conditioner.
