I'm deployed to a dry environment and my skin has taken a beating. No matter how much lotion I would put on my skin would become flaky within an hour or so. When I do have the time to slather this on in the shower, my skin feels so soft and moisturized afterward. I love it's scent of almond and oatmeal - it's very calming. This morning I was in such a hurry that I ran out without putting on lotion on my arms. My arms were bare and when I realized this I examined my arms to see how bad the damage was. To my delight, my arms looked fine even without the lotion. My only disappointment with this product is it's consistancy. It's liquid and you have to practice some care while in the shower or it will run right out of your hands and into the drain. I wish there was a slightly thicker formula to remedy this.

This product did not sufficiently moisturize my winter-dry, itchy skin. You are not supposed to rub it in, but in order to adequately cover skin you kind of need to. It makes a thin, white lather when you apply it, and it does not absorb into my skin like some other products I have tried. I did notice the almond smell, but there was something not quite right about it, kinda funky maybe.
I use this in my bath daily to keep my skin from getting too dry and it works great. I wear flip flops everyday in south Florida and my husband is always bringing my attention to the heels of women down here that are all cracked and dry. He usually notices them in the checkout lines. This keeps my feet smooth and baby soft which is no small feat since I'm a 60 yr. old grandmother of five. I use several Aveeno products daily and gave found their products to be gentle and effective for me.
This product was an answer to something I had wished for. I am disabled and taking a shower was exhausting. The thought of then having to apply moisturizer (I have plaque Psoriasis)after the shower was impossible. I'd have to lay down for 10 minutes or so to regain my strength after taking the shower before I could start with the lotion. Well we all know that you want to apply lotion while you're still damp. Then I found this product at Drugstore.com and did a little happy yelp. Now I just apply to my wet skin and give myself a quick rinse and I'm good to go. I will say I do need to do some extra moisturizing for certain spots, elbows, ankles, but at least while I'm resting my skin isn't drying up. This was more than just a good find, it helped me in so many ways.
I have incredibly sensitive skin with chronic inflammation. I added this to my shower routine on arms, legs, and back, and it has really helped with my eczema. Usually my skin is itchy all winter long, but whe I use this it is fine. I know it works because I ran out last week and my skin has been super dry and itchy! I use it with Aveeno eczema therapy cream and Aveeno hydrocortisone anti itch cream.
My dermatologist recommended this bath oil for my very dry skin. He recommends not putting it in the bath water, but putting it on after the bath or shower, lightly rinsing it off, then patting the skin dry. This product has really made a difference for my ski.
at first it was strange since it is oily and not foamy; but oh is it moisturizing? i put away a few months ago since i have found it too oily but now winter time and it is a must for a dry itchy winter skin; it is really a life saver for dry itchy skin and you might not even use a moisturizer after using this Aveeno Moisturizing Shower & Bath Oil;
