Historically I have shied away from toners because I decided they were not necessary. Plus they would irritate and dry out my skin. When I started using Avene's Gentle Milk Cleanser I needed something to give me a clean feeling since I am not using soap and water. The toner removes the remaining residue and does not dry out my skin. I have been using the product for over a month and I am pleased and surprised with the results.

Great toner! Doesn't sting or dry out my skin. I thought the chalky particulate matter in the solution was a concern for possible breakouts, but it doesn't seem to have caused me any problems. Doesn't remove heavy eye makeup smudges well, but does remove the oily residue from my primary eye makeup remover.
