I bought this because my dermatologist gave me some samples when I was in his office. I have very dry skin on my arms and legs. It moisturizes well but feels a bit greasy/heavy when I first put it on. Overall a good lotion.

I've had this lotion on my shelf for months and kept using my 'fancier', good smelling stuff. I guess you could say that I am sort of a 'lotion junky' because I have so many. I even have some in a storage room because I don't have enough room on my closet shelves for all of them. I have some that I love the fragrance and some that I just thought were better for some reason. I don't know why because I hadn't even opened my Cetaphil lotion yet. Maybe because it's in such a plain bottle. But, as they say, "don't judge a book by it's cover". I now know this applies to my Cetaphil lotion. For a while now I thought Olay Quench was the best, but I finally opened my Cetaphil yesterday and all I can say is WOW!! I don't think my skin has felt this soft in a long time. Well, maybe I should say felt this soft and STAYED this soft. This stuff doesn't wear off or evaporate like some others that have to be reapplied a few hours later. My skin feels so soft that I keep wanting to feel my legs, arms, etc. I will now be using this from now on as my first pick. Who knew?

used this product while I was living in Canada and since then I cannot stop buying it. My skin is very dry but Cetaphil just provided me the layer of moisture with no greasy feeling.

I love the gentle skin cleanser, but this lotion is way to heavy for my sensitive/oily skin. It feels like it sits on top of my skin and feels greasy. I still use it on my hands and body, but I really prefer Johnson's baby lotion, its just as mild but absorbs instantly and leaves no residue, I even use it on my face. I recommend Johnson's over this, but this is very mild and did not make me break out- just made me feel like a greasy pizza face.

My dermatologist recommended the Cetaphil products to me and I find them all excellent.

I was hoping this would be a lighter version of Cetaphil Cream, which I love. But I was very disappointed with the lotion. It is a lighter consistency, but it is not nearly as moisturizing as the cream. It also caused my skin to breakout. I've used it both for face and body and experienced breakouts in both instances. I will stick with the cream from now on.
