I love everything Cetaphil makes. There is nothing else like them!! They make their products to effective without any of the harsh medications like other cleansers and lotions have in them. They are hands down the BEST drugstore brand. Heck, I'd choose them over department store brands!

My dermatologist recommended I use this lotion, and while it can be a little greasy feeling/looking, it does a great job of NOT clogging my pores and actually does moisturize. My skin very rarely allows me put anything on it without having a fit; this seems to be the best facial moisturizer I've come across in that regard.

I've loved this moisturizer for years! If you have dry, sensitive skin like me, you can use it on your face or body. I've been using it on my daughter's eczema-prone skin since she was a baby and it's just the best thing out there.

I always keep coming back to this moisturizer. It's light but effective. I have rosacea and it doesn't irritate my skin. It leaves a glowing look to the skin (that is, it's not a matte finish), but if I want a more matte look, I simply brush on a little face powder over it (I don't wear foundation). At times, I've tried moisturizers that have an absolutely matte finish, but find that the fine lines on my face are more apparent. I should add that I used to used expensive moisturizers. My dermatologist recommended this to me and I've found it better for my face than more expensive alternatives.

I use retin-a on my face with the Obagi blender and Obagi Clear cream. Sometimes the Obagi acne serum as well. La Roche-Posay Anthelios sunscreen. I need a moisturizer which JUST MOISTURIZES. I do not want any retinol, glycolic acids, anti-wrinkle ingredients, sunscreens, brightening agents or anything else. Just TRY and find one at the drugstore, it's impossible! What I use on my face is extremely powerful and I don't want to add anything on top of it. My skin is completely porcelain smooth, BUT it requires a LOT of maintenance, I actually break out really easily if I don't take care of it. I don't have sensitive skin, but I will break out with the wrong kind of lotion, usually after two or three days. I have been looking for just the perfect moisturizer for literally years! For a long long time I used the Mary Kay timewise moisturizer for dry skin, but it was never moisturizing enough, especially at night. I was at my boyfriend's house and when i got out of the shower there was a bottle of cetaphil there. I had a vague idea that it was a gentle facial moisturizer, so I put some on and absolutely loved it. The next day I went to use it again but then noticed that it said "perfect for use as an all-over body lotion." I was like, well, I better not use it on my face, and I used it all over my body instead and loved that. It feels very very similar to the Origins Precipitation - at a fraction of the cost. (I will admit Precipitation smells SO good it's worth the price to me.) I checked online and read a bunch of reviews and realized it IS used for the face. I LOVE IT! It is so moisturizing that I don't even need a separate eye cream. My nose tends to get quite oily, and this does not exacerbate it at all. During the day I mix just a dab with my sunscreen. I wear mineral makeup and it does not ball up the way it can over other creams with lots of moisture. If it doesn't break me out it will not break you out! It's so moisturizing, but doesn't make your face stick to your pillow and hair. It feels so good and I enjoy putting it on. Buy this!

best daily moisturizer ever

I was very excited to try this after reading the great reviews. Yes, it does do a great job of moisturizing. For about a week I had glowing skin and it made my liquid foundation very easy to blend which in turn made my face look great. I had a dewy beautiful complexion.. until about a week later when my face began to break out horribly. I have never had huge issues with acne. Only a few pimples here and there. But after using this product I broke out so badly on my chin. 10-12 pimples. After I stopped using this my skin has drastically cleared up. Be careful, although it does say non-comodogenic this clogged my pores severely.

I used to use Cetaphil (France) moisturizer beforehand and find it being one of the best moisturizer that I had used, that is why I thought this would be the same thing that I had used but it didn't turn out that way. If anyone has a sensitive smell like me, you may not like this product. This gives off a weird plastic smell (and it does not come from the bottle) and kinda hesitate me if I should apply this on my skin. About its moisturizing effect, it doesn't have a great one but I would recommend this to Eczema prone skin like mine. It is considered gentle and doesn't sting. Although this product is relatively good (acceptable), but I believe there are other moisturizers out there provide a better moisturizing effect and better smell.

My dermatologist highly recommends this product and it works well.

I have dry skin. Years ago my dermatologist told me to use Cetaphil products and I've been using them ever since. ( Prior to that I jumped around and was never happy with my moisturizer.)
