My pediatrician recommended this for my newborn. She had very dry skin. One use of this in her bath, combined with Mustela bath oil and Theraplex emollient afterwards, worked like a magic wand. Now she has the softest skin ever!

I've read the reviews about the scent, but I honestly love it. I am usually sensitive to scents, but this is so yummy smelling. It's very fresh, almost like a very, very light detergent... but I like it. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean. I had heard of Cetaphil, but this is my first time trying it. Will buy again. I follow with a UVA/UVB lotion by Neutrogena (Sunblock Lotion, SPF 45).

My dermatologist recommended this cleanser. I have hand dermatitis, and washing my hands causes blisters and dry-cracked skin. This cleanser leaves my hands feeling soft with no irritation. I put it in a smaller bottle for my purse, so that I can use it at any time.

Cetaphil is the best. I'm 26 years old, and have had severe acne since I was about 12. Other "gentle" cleansers either didn't cleanse my skin well enough or moisturized too much, leading to more breakouts. I'd all but given up hope until I gave this a shot when a dermatologist recommended I try it a few years ago. Cetaphil isn't a quick fix, and you probably won't see changes overnight if your skin is anything like mine, but stick with it for a few weeks, and you will definitely see lasting results.

I am giving this product 5 stars because it is the only product I've used that doesnt dry my skin or make it break out. I have oily and acne-prone skin, and this product cleanses very well and does not exacerbate the problem. I've used everything (Lancome, Proactiv, Borba, and Origins to name a few) - this has worked the best for me. At first it seemed a little watery, but I got used to the consistency, and if you shake it well and often when you use it, it's fine. I will never use anything else - it has improved my skin remarkably.

I purchased this because of the great reviews on here. I have extremely sensitive acne-prone skin, and I thought this would be perfect for me. I liked that it was simple and fragrance-free, however I felt like it burned my face and made it even drier than before. But after awhile when I started using this, my face calmed down and it stopped being so dry. I think it is a good cleanser for people with dry and sensitive skin. I'm not sure if I would buy it again though, because of some of its affects. Cetaphil lotion is excellent, though.
