I love this product. My son had an allergic reaction to a trendy European baby product line. I tried everything, natural baby products-you name it; he had bad reactions to almost everything. I found out that natural products can have irritating ingredients like perfumes and dyes or ingredients that may be ok for most people, but cause irritation for a significant number of people (i.e. my son breaks out when something has chamomile, which is supposed to be soothing). I finally asked my doctor and he suggested Cetaphil sensitive skin cleanser and lotion because they are fragrance and irritant free. It worked! I have used this for both my boys instead of baby products ever since. The cleanser does not dry out my baby's skin and we only need to use the lotion in the winter. The lotion is very moisturizing and has not caused any skin irritation for either of my guys. I really like this cleanser. It is a good mild cleanser and I love that I can use it without any water. It removes eye-makeup without any stinging or irritation to my sensitive eyes. The most noticeable improvement of my skin has been on the sides of my face. Overall, I have good skin, but Cetaphil has made it smoother and more even on my entire cheek and jawbone area, which sometimes gets a little pinkish. I still do a mild exfoliation about 2 times a week with another product because this product doesn't do that.

This stuff doesn't work well on my acne-prone skin. If used exclusively as my cleanser, my skin will begin to break out worse. However, it is convenient as an occasional cleanser for when I need to clease but don't want to use my harsher acne cleansers, and can be used without water. So it's good for an occasional mild and moisturizing cleanser, but I don't really recommend it for regular use on acne-prone skin.

The Cetaphil cleasnser is extremely gentle on my sensitive skin. It feels like a creamy soft lotion.

I have been using this gentle cleanser for years I just love it!! It leaves my skin soft with no irritation, which I really like. I also use this cleanser for cleaning my makeup sponge and I find it makes the foundation go on so much easier.

It was very gentle, although I didn't feel as though it cleaned my skin very well. When I tried to use it to remove eye makeup, it didn't work, but it didn't irritate my eyes, either. If I had sensitive skin, this product would be great. Since I don't, I wouldn't purchase this product, nor would I recommend it to a friend or family member.

I really liked how it made my skin feel soft without making it greasy. I liked the fact you could use it two ways depending on what results were desired. It's fragrance free, which is important, and is very gentle to the skin. I would recommend this to others.

I like the way Cetaphil cleanses my skin. It does not smell perfumy or pepperminty, and does not take my breath away. It does not make my face itchy nor does it burn like some face cleansers. The manufacturer recommends either to wipe the cleanser off with a dry washcloth and leave a thin layer of Cetaphil on your face to moisturize it, or, to wash it off with water. I did not particularly care for the "leaving a thin layer on my face." It felt pretty sticky and then dry like a masque. I did like the way it washed off my face right away with water. I think a lot of people with skin sensitivity would like this product!

I have very sensitive skin and I'm allergic to a lot of soaps, but I didn't have any problem with Cetaphil. I used it several times a day, whenever my face didn't feel clean, and I didn't have any problems. Cetaphil is better than other facial cleansers because it made my skin look and feel clean, and didn't dry it out. I highly recommend Cetaphil; however, look out for sales because the price is a little high.

The first few times I used the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, I didn't think I liked it because it didn't lather. I felt like I was trying to wash my face with lotion instead of cleanser. However, I began to notice that my skin felt smoother and looked healthier after a few days. It didn't make my face feel tight like other cleansers. I like the convenience of being able to use it with or without water. It cleaned well, even removing my mascara.
