I never realized how much moisture I was taking away from my skin until using this product! I absolutely love the way my skin feels after using it, and it even works well for removing eye makeup. My favorite thing about this product is that it has actually decreased the appearance of small wrinkles under my eyes, almost eliminating my need for eye cream at night. Unfortunately, though, my skin is not only sensitive but also oily, and this product is doing little to nothing for my acne. Nonetheless, everyone I know loves this product and I can see why!

I use every one of the products in the line. This cleanser is the gentlest one out there, cleans your skin but leaves it moisturized especially in the winter months. It really works and it good for all skin types. Try all of the products from this line, they are all fantastic!

This is my tried and true favorite product. It's been a staple product of mine for over two years now, and I recommend it to all my friends with skin issues. I'm a teenager with sensitive/dry/acne-prone skin. I admit to getting anxious and wanting to try different products, and I've tried a lot, (Dove, Noxzema, Purpose, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Clean & Clear, St.Ives, Clearasil, etc.), but NOTHING can compare to Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. When I try a new product, it always ruins my skin, and I always come running back to this cleanser begging for forgiveness. And trust me, it forgives. It's just so great in that it affectively cleanses your skin without stripping your natural moisture, and not irritating anything, which is great for people with acne because irritating products can aggravate acne. Believe me, I know. I could go on and on about this product. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is just the best cleanser out there for me, hands down. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I use this to clean my face morning and night. I either rinse away with warm water or wipe away with a hot washcloth - sometimes using the cloth for exfoliation. I follow with witch hazel on a cotton pad. This leaves my skin fresh and clean with no residue. My skin has never looked better!

This cleanser is great to use on babies who have eczema. My daughter had a horrible eczema breakout using Aveeno Baby products but Cetaphil has never caused problems. We use it on her skin and hair and her hair never looks greasy or dirty. Highly recommended.

I used the old formulation for years. It was recommended to me by a dermatologist after I started getting acne in my late 20s and breaking out in rashes from everything I tried washing my face with. It was perfect. No fragrance, no tightness after washing. It's not intended to be soap, it's supposed to cleanse your face without disturbing the nature of the surface. You can use it without water, which I have done when camping or hiking. However, recently I bought a bottle, as it appears on this site, with the new blue pump cap, and it's entirely different. It has a strong smell, its feel is entirely different, and once again after decades of use, rashes. I will not buy this product again.

What a relief! I have finally found a product that works for me. I have tried every anti itch cream or lotion available. Nothing works! Not until I found Cetaphil. For years I have tried to find something that would sooth the constant ferocious itching on my skin. I have not been able to use soap for years; neither have I been able to use any of the normally recommended anti itch products, like Aveeno. When using other products nothing has been able to calm the itch on my skin. I have had to resort to using lidocaine lotion after my shower just to relieve the terrible itching and pain. The Cetaphil works so well that I dont even need lidocaine lotion after my shower! What a wonderful product! Absolutely the best thing I have found for extremely over sensitive skin.

I used this product for a month or so. I found it didn't cleanse well and it did dry my face, especially near the nose area. I won't purchase this again. There are better cleaning and more gentle cleansers in the drugstores.

Fabulous cleanser. It's moisturizing, works great, and is amazingly priced. This is my Holy Grail cleanser, especially in winter.

Since I wear sunscreen daily, I found out that this cleanser is rather inadequate at removing sunscreen, I needed to gently rub and rub for a good 5 minutes to remove sunscreen, but it's good for daily light duty cleansing though. Won't buy again.
